2025 is a big year for Disney World; although many attractions and lands are closing, two new lounges are set to open this year! One in EPCOT and one in the Magic Kingdom. While we are always excited to check out a new place to dine at Disney World, we are incredibly excited about these lounges because they are themed after popular attractions!
If you’ve ever visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, you may have discovered the interactive wands that you can buy there. These wands interact with certain displays throughout Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley and add a fun interactive addition to your Harry Potter experience at the parks.

We’ve already discovered that some new wands will be coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic when Epic Universe opens, but Universal Orlando’s other two theme parks are getting NEW upgraded interactive wands, as well as new wand experiences.

The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is right around the corner!
It’s almost time!
The festival will run from March 5th until June 2nd, and there is so much to see and do. EPCOT has already started transforming for the festival, as topiaries, flowers, and the Butterfly Garden have already started to pop up! Plus, this festival will be full of exclusive merchandise, entertainment, and, of course, our favorite part: food!
Disney World is home to plenty of different hotels for plenty of different tastes. You want to stay in a bungalow over the water? Check. Want to pretend you’re on an African safari? You can do that too. Heck, you can even go camping at Disney World.

Why not get in touch with Florida’s natural beauty while you’re on your Disney vacation at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground? You can rent a cabin, bring an RV, and go tent camping — and there are a TON of recreational activities available here. But, one of those activities was suddenly closed when we stopped by recently — and you won’t believe why.

Disney World Cast Members are speaking out to highlight a “critical issue.” In a new statement, one Cast Member said they are tired of feeling like “second-class Cast Members,” and employees at Disney Springs restaurants and the Italy Pavilion in EPCOT have started wearing union buttons onstage. According to the Unite Here Local 737 union, this marks the first time union solidarity is visible to Disney World visitors during an employee’s shift.

Disney employees are speaking out. On February 18th, The Local 737 union shared a post on Facebook, calling for members to “hit the streets and demand respect.” Now, a new press release shares additional details on the union’s demands.
There’s a BIG celebration coming to Disney World, and you don’t even need a park ticket to visit! Disney Springs is hosting a special event at Raglan Road, and we’re expecting great food, talented performers, and a LOT of green outfits.

The 2025 St. Patrick’s festival is happening at Raglan Road from March 14th to March 17 — that’s a whole weekend of celebrations! You might want to book a reservation NOW; this event tends to be popular, and we have a feeling there will be a lot of Disney fans at this year’s festival.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Even if you decide to splurge on a meal, not all Disney World restaurants are created equal. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your vacation, so we are sharing the most expensive restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom that you should skip (and where you should go instead).
Get ready to feel some Sweet Emotion, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster fans. The iconic coaster is changing in a BIG way. Say goodbye to Aerosmith; Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the gang will be moving right along to Sunset Boulevard to take over the roller coaster! So, what’s with all the changes? Well, Disney announced that a new Monsters, Inc. themed land is coming to Hollywood Studios, and it’s taking the place of the Muppets Courtyard on Grand Avenue. This has led to some serious theme park rearranging, including changes at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

So far, Disney has been pretty quiet about the changes planned for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but a new permit indicates the first official changes are on the way. Disney just filed a permit to repaint the guitar at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
