Well, the holiday season will soon come to a close in Disney World, but we’ve still got one HUGE 2024 event to celebrate.

That’s New Year’s Eve, when we ring out the old year and ring in the New. Now, New Year’s Eve can be a BLAST in Disney World with three out of the four parks celebrating in some way with special New Year’s Eve fireworks. However, EPCOT goes a little overboard with its celebration and brings in a lot of fun, like DJs, dance parties, and more. Well, we’ve started to see the first of preparations for EPCOT’s big party!

There are lots of transportation options for you to use while at Disney World.

The Walt Disney World Monorail at EPCOT

The Monorail can take you between the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), Magic Kingdom, Magic Kingdom Resorts, and EPCOT. Buses run from all four parks, the water parks, Disney Springs, and hotels. And there’s the popular Skyliner that runs between several hotels, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. But you can also catch rideshare vehicles, including the cute Minnie Vans. While the Monorail, buses, and Skyliner are free options, sometimes paying for a ride share vehicle might be worth it. But there’s one thing about the Minnie Vans that you never knew before!

NEW Permit Hints at CHANGES Coming Soon to Tomorrowland Ride in Magic Kingdom

Disney World always keeps its rides up to date and working properly to ensure a great guest experience.

Disney will often close rides to do refurbishments for routine maintenance, or sometimes rides won’t even have to close down for the Imagineers to make small adjustments. Depending on the maintenance, refurbishments can take less than a day to do or over a year (as will be the case with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad). A new permit that we spotted for another Magic Kingdom ride hints that maintenance of some kind is coming soon.
