It’s Halloween in Disney World!
Disney World is now officially celebrating the Halloween season in Magic Kingdom. A new skip-the-line Genie+ replacement called Lighting Lane Multi Pass is now in effect. So, with these factors in mind, what are the average wait times looking like in Disney World for the first week of August? Let’s take a look!
Attention, Disney dads! If you’re planning to visit Disney World soon, you might want to take a hard look at your closet and decide if you’ve got the right shoes for the job. Walking through Disney World is no walk in the park (even though you are, technically, walking through a park). It’s EXHAUSTING being on your feet all day in a theme park, and you need the right shoes to survive the day.

That’s where we come in. We’ve done the research, and we found the six BEST pairs of sandals for Disney World. Sure, sneakers are nice, but Florida is often wet, rainy, and HOT, and you don’t want to walk around with a damp, smelly pair of shoes all week. We often recommend sandals instead. A TON of new Halloween treats will be arriving in the parks, at Downtown Disney, and hotel restaurants soon. Several new restaurants have opened recently in Downtown Disney. We just got an opening timeline for yet ANOTHER new restaurant coming to Downtown Disney. We also learned about a fun Halloween character dining experience coming soon at Goofy’s Kitchen, but we’ve got a word of warning: the price of that dining experience has gone up.
OK, everyone, get out your phones. Go to your calendar app. Is there anything scheduled for August 27th? Cancel it. Cancel it ALL. Something EXCITING is happening on this unassuming Tuesday in August, and you’re not gonna want to miss it.

Okay, is it just us, or is it always the TV shows you’re JUST getting into suddenly get canceled?

We’ve had some pretty surprising cancelations recently. For example, the entertaining Renegade Nell was canceled on Disney+ after just one season (which is a SHAME, y’all). We recently learned that the seventh season of The Good Doctor will be its last. Well, another show that we THOUGHT was super popular just got the axe — and we’re not entirely happy about it.
