It’s almost Easter and Disney World is already celebrating!
Mickey is ready for Easter!
We’ve seen a whole new booth open up at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa selling festive treats, like baby chick cupcakes and hot cross buns, as well as some GIANT decorative chocolate eggs in the lobby themed to different Disney characters. We have also seen the return of the Bunny Butts around the parks and resorts, and we just found ANOTHER Bunny Butt treat that we just had to try!
Ever sit inside of a darker Disney World ride and think to yourself “I wonder how awesome [creepy, weird, strange, incredible, fascinating, spooky, *insert word here*] this ride would look with the lights ON!“? Well, you’re not alone!
Splash Mountain
Disney makes purposeful use of lights and special effects to trick your eyes into seeing the “magic” that they want you to view. But, sometimes you might become witness to a very special situation. Turns out a ride stopping in the middle of your experience might not be a bad thing after all! 😂 Sometimes, when a ride breaks down, needs to be evacuated, or just temporarily stops, the lights in that attraction might all turn ON, giving you one of the most unique views of the ride that you’ll ever get! We ourselves, and some of our awesome readers, have experienced this multiple times and we’ve got all kinds of cool photos and videos to share with you. So…what are you waiting for?! Every time we think our collection is finished, Disney releases a new pair of ears that we love. And lately, they’ve been releasing a TON of ears! We’ve seen Orange Bird ears, Space Mountain ears, designer ears, and even ears that smell like BUTTER. We also found a new pair of ears themed to a popular Disney Princess in the parks, but now, they’re also available online!
It can be pretty hard to keep up with all of the changes happening in Disney World.

There are plenty of ways to celebrate Easter at Disney World and Disneyland this year! You can sign up for the Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt at EPCOT or at Disneyland Resort, be wowed by the amazingly artistic chocolate Easter eggs on display at The Grand Floridian, and enjoy a Hot Cross Bun.
