Today we shared the big news that traditional meet and greets are coming back to Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani.
But you may have missed an important detail within all of that news…
Things have changed a lot on Disney Cruise Line over the past few months…and they’re about to change AGAIN!
We’ve already seen mask requirements adjusted on Disney’s cruises, as well as COVID-19 requirements updated for sailings from Canada, and more changes. But soon a key thing many fans have likely missed from Disney’s sailings will be coming back!
There’s nothing quite like hugging your favorite Disney character, right?!
Well, do we have BIG news for you. Yesterday, Disney teased the return of traditional character meet and greets and now we have an official announcement.
🚨 Get ready! The way you meet your favorite Disney characters in the parks is CHANGING…again!
Prior to the pandemic, meeting Mickey, the Disney princesses, and other iconic characters was full of hugs, autographs, and regular face-to-face contact. Of course, the situation with COVID-19 changed all of that. After the parks reopened, fans got the chance to see Mickey and friends…but only from a distance. Then, more traditional meet-and-greets returned, but they were still riddled with changes including (importantly) distancing requirements, no hugs, and no autographs. We later heard that the face-to-face meet-and-greets we’re all used to would soon be returning to Disney World (and got a hint about it yesterday) and now we’ve got BIG news!
It’s getting hard to keep up with all of the new Disney World 50th anniversary merchandise! Just yesterday, Disney announced four new 50th anniversary collections coming to the parks this spring, and we can’t forget about the new Disney x Coach collection, either.
It feels like every time we turn around, there’s a brand new item, snack, or experience in celebration of the 50th (and we’re not complaining about it!), and we just found the most amazing 50th anniversary Funko Pop online.
Although we love all the parks at Disney World, there’s just something extra magical about Magic Kingdom.
Maybe it’s because there’s a gorgeous castle at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., maybe it’s because there are just SO many attractions to ride, maybe it’s because of all the different lands, maybe it’s because of the FANTASTICAL parade we get to see there every day, but whatever the case, we LOVE Magic Kingdom. We love that we get to go there every day, just checking out anything new going on.
It’s spring, which means it’s time for some spring cleaning! This is the time of the year where we go through our closets and finally get rid of those old Disney bubble wands, those Crocs your kids have grown out of, and those toys that no one has played with in years.
But, we don’t want to just throw these things away, especially if they’re still in decent condition! We would much rather donate them or give them a new life in some way. So, if you’re one of those people that has a bunch of old LEGOs lying around, we have the PERFECT thing you can do with them!
It’s important to be prepared for anything that could happen during your Disney World vacation.
From losing your keys to unexpected ride closures, you’re likely to encounter at least a couple of bumps along the way during your trip. One of the most common can be bad weather, which can be very difficult to predict accurately (especially in Orlando, and especially during the summer months). This year, it looks like we’re in for a few major storms as the hurricane season approaches. Check out the predictions for the 2022 hurricane season here. [Read more…]
It’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan right now — from the opening of the Galactic Starcruiser to all of the original Disney+ shows.
One of the shows that has a ton of anticipation around it is Obi-Wan Kenobi! Ewan McGregor is reprising his role from the prequel films and Hayden Christensen is even coming back as Darth Vader. Disney has already released a first look at the series and when it will be released, but now, we have some important news about the premiere date for Obi-Wan Kenobi!
Are you ready for the NEXT big EPCOT event — the Food & Wine Festival?! NO? Well it’s time to save up those dollars, grab your stretchy pants, and get prepared!
Disney has already shared that the Food & Wine Festival will start on July 14th and run through part of November. But just what can fans expect to find at the Festival this year? Here’s what we know so far!
