We go to Disney World ALL the time, so we love when new foods pop up for us to test out. Recently, we’ve seen some fun items for May the 4th, like a Millennium Falcon sundae and festive popcorn, as well as some new menu items added to popular restaurants! Today, we noticed a brand new drink over in one Disney World park, so come along with us to try it out!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios
We’re taking in all the sights, sounds, smells, and special experiences happening throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios for May the 4th. So far we’ve seen special PhotoPass ops, and don’t even get us started on how many of the exclusive treats we’ve already tried! Speaking of which, let’s check out another special Star Wars Day snack that’s sure to be out of this world.
The saga with Disney World’s Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) continues in the state of Florida.

The RCID is a special district under which Disney World’s land has operated for 50+ years. The special district arrangement essentially allows Disney to, in many ways, act as its own county and have a great deal of control over decisions made regarding the land it operates on in Orlando. But a recent bill passed by the Florida legislature and signed into law by the Florida Governor would dissolve the district in 2023 (unless a new agreement is reached). Now some Florida taxpayers are making their voices heard when it comes to this matter.

There are so many ways to celebrate May 4th, like a ride on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, a conversation with passing Stormtroopers, or even the Star Wars Nite in Disneyland (if you were able to grab a ticket)! But the galactic fun doesn’t stop there! There are also a ton of treats that have popped up all over Disney Parks, including one treat that celebrates everyone’s favorite hunk of junk.
