Rainy Day Cavalcade
Florida is notorious for the kind of weather that makes folks say, “If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute.” And, while the storms may usually pass quickly, that doesn’t mean that your day in the parks won’t be impacted. We’ve seen days where thunderstorms cause ride closures and even recently saw Disney’s Hollywood Studios flood. And, as we move into the Spring season in Central Florida, we’re bringing you along with us on a REALLY rainy day in Disney World!Â

There are so many things to do at night in Disney World!Â
Disney Enchantment Fireworks
There are tons of nighttime shows at Disney World like Harmonious in EPCOT and Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom, but did you know that there’s a nighttime Disney World show that you don’t have to be in the parks to see? And no, we’re not talking about watching the fireworks from your hotel window!
There are a lot of changes in the works at Disneyland right now!
Sleeping Beauty Castle
For example, TONS of nighttime entertainment is coming back in the next month, THREE fan-favorite rides are closing for refurbishment, and Mickey’s Toontown is undergoing a full transformation. And, on top of it all, Disney has shared that they will be taking some time to fix a pinch point in Disneyland Park to help with crowding moving forward.
While you can often find us chowing down on Mickey Pretzels and Dole Whip in the parks, some of our favorite Disney World dining locations are actually found outside of the parks!
Coronado Springs Resort
The Disney World Resort hotels are home to some iconic restaurants. Of course, there are the quintessential spots like ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. But, there’s one Disney World hotel that we bet you don’t typically think of when it comes to dining…but you totally should!
Last year, Disneyland teased the return of one nighttime parade that has withstood the test of time. And, as of next month, it is officially coming BACK — along with TWO other fan-favorite shows!

That’s right — we’re talking about the Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and World of Color! We already knew that these shows would be returning to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on April 22nd, but now we know exactly WHEN you’ll need to be stationed on Main Street, U.S.A or at Paradise Gardens Park to enjoy them!
