The Train Line that will Connect Disney World to the Orlando Airport Hits a Major Construction Milestone

Now that the Disney Magical Express is gone, travelers need a new way to get to and from the airport and Disney World.

There are several options, like Mears Connect, the Sunshine Flyer, an Uber, or renting a car. But, in the future, people will be able to take a train from the airport to Disney World! But first, that train has to get to Orlando. The Brightline train is currently working on an expansion from southern Florida to Orlando, and construction just hit a major milestone.

You likely know Animal Kingdom for its rides and experiences. We do really enjoy a nice day in this park. Seeing the animals (especially when there are new babies out!), riding Expedition Everest 3 times in a row, taking a walk around the Tree of Life to admire the carvings — there’s no shortage of ways to have fun in the park. We also love exploring Pandora: The World of Avatar, which has one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat — Satu’li Canteen! Come along with us to see if Satu’li is still holding up to its reputation as one of the best quick service spots in this park.

We’re suckers for Disney cupcakes.

It seems like when we stop by a Disney World restaurant that sells cupcakes, there are often new flavors with new sugar decorations, a pile of icing on top, and most likely, some kind of unique filling in the middle. But hey, we’re not complaining — it just means more yummy desserts for us to try! NEWS: Big Thunder Mountain Now CLOSED for Refurbishment in Disney World

We have to admit that we hate it when our favorite Disney World ride gets closed for refurbishment, even if it just means the ride is getting some TLC to get it all spiffed up like it’s new again for guests.
