One of our favorite themed lands in Disney World is Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where you’re shrunk down to the size of a toy in Andy’s backyard.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is one of those places that no one seems to talk about! Currently, one of the resort’s most popular dining locations is closed (😢 ), but that didn’t stop Disney from selling merchandise inspired by the restaurant! In fact, Disney has been selling lots of resort-inspired merchandise lately, all of which was (probably) meant for Christmas!

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser started accepting guests, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened in EPCOT, and we got many popular entertainment options back — that all happened in the first half of the year! On top of that, we’ll be getting yet ANOTHER new restaurant in 2022.
Thought the Figment popcorn bucket saga was over? THINK AGAIN!
Figment is traveling around World Showcase with us!
A quick recap if you aren’t aware of this purple dragon’s quest for world domination: as part of the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, a Figment popcorn bucket was released which drew in MULTI-HOUR waits. The lines continued in the days that followed, until our purple dragon SOLD OUT (for the moment anyway). He inspired an epic cake creation and a “bad artwork sketch” with proceeds going to charity. Now, he’s coming to you in the form of more merchandise meant to do good!
No one stole our hearts faster than Grogu, or “Baby Yoda” as he is still affectionately called!
How can you not love that face?
We’ve seen Baby Yoda deviled eggs, Pandora bracelet charms, and even Baby Yoda…furniture?! But, we spotted a NEW piece of Grogu merchandise online that we had previously only seen in the parks!
It’s hard not to love Disney’s Animal Kingdom? It’s got tons of shade (and believe us, that is IMPORTANT), beautiful theming, and animals!

The food here is also AMAZING and you can grab some unique souvenirs (Yeti backpack anyone?) in the park that you can’t find anywhere else in Disney World. And we’ve been to Animal Kingdom very recently to see what’s been going on and what’s new. So let’s get on with the updates!

The Expo will take place in September in Anaheim, California. We have some exciting news for our Disneyland friends! Disney’s California Adventure and Disneyland parks are full of unique attractions, restaurants, and even characters. But did you know that they also have different FESTIVALS than the ones over in Disney World? Starting back in November, Disney’s California Adventure park kicked off its annual Festival of the Holidays celebration, which is different than the EPCOT festival you may be familiar with. But after the Festival of the Holidays is over, a NEW festival comes along to ring in the new year!
There is SO much to do in Disney California Adventure!
Recently, we found out that the Lunar New Year Festival in Disney California Adventure will start on January 21st and run through February 13th, 2022. As we get closer to the start of the event, we can take a look at the NEW menus that we just revealed for this year’s festivities!
There are a few Magic Kingdom attractions that aren’t open right now, including Splash Mountain and the Walt Disney World Railroad.
