Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, AKA the Star Wars hotel, will be opening pretty soon in Disney World! The grand opening will be on March 1st, 2022.

The hotel is like nothing else on Disney property. It will be an immersive experience where you’re put into the story of Star Wars and get to interact with characters, train with lightsabers, and eat some unique space food. Reservations for the hotel have been open for a while, but one month just completely sold out!

We saw literally HUNDREDS of price increases hit items at restaurants, lounges, and snack stands throughout Disney World’s theme parks, water parks, resort hotels, and more. Some of the increases were pretty small — only a matter of a few cents — but others were larger, in amounts of $1, $2, or even $3. Airport Crowds
Many Disney fans have said that the variant has changed their travel plans, while thousands of flights have been canceled around the country in the past month. And now, there is a new travel advisory for people in the United States due to the variant.
There have been a ton of changes at Disney World lately! Between all the new snacks for the 50th Anniversary and EPCOT gearing up for the Festival of the Arts, there’s been a LOT going on around the parks!

However, the fun doesn’t stop at the parks, there’s a lot of changes coming to Disney Springs too! Here’s all the new stuff we’ve spotted at the dining and shopping district lately.
Disney World has seen a lot of changes over the past couple years when it comes to how the parks operate.
Mask Signage
Character meet and greets weren’t available for a long time (and now that they’re back, they’re modified), we’ve seen a variety of health and safety measures like temperature screenings and face mask requirements, and crowd capacity was being limited after the parks reopened in July of 2020. Some changes remain in place, while other things are back to normal, but Disney seems to be looking for some feedback on what should happen next in the parks.
Ever run out of time to shop during your Disney World vacation? In between that dining reservation in EPCOT and your 4:30 Test Track return time, it can be hard to fit in time to look at all that Disney merchandise! Or maybe you try and AVOID the gift shops during your trip altogether — you’re already spending lots of money as is, after all!
