Rapunzel said it best – we’re looking to have the “BEST DAY EVER” in Disney World this year.
And the “best day ever” starts right here – with the pre-trip-planning.
We’re a couple of weeks into 2022 now, but it still feels like the holidays in Disney World!
Holiday decorations are still up in the parks, and you can find plenty of ornaments, stockings, and Christmas PJs in the gift shops. Although it seems like the parks are clinging to holiday cheer for dear life, there’s one spot that has officially moved on from the festive season — and we’re actually VERY glad that it did!
Disney World has a BUNCH of great little snack stands and food kiosks around Magic Kingdom.
And now, Disney just released a new MagicBand inspired by a popular location in Adventureland, and it’s just for Annual Passholders. Looking for a new accessory to wear on your next visit to the parks? Check out this NEW MagicBand we found online!

Catching the nightly showing of fireworks is on most park-goers ‘ must-do lists, especially after the debut of not one, but TWO new fireworks shows for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration — Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at EPCOT.
And, while you’ll likely be smiling your way through the show (or crying if you’re anything like us — we can’t help it), one thing that might leave you with a sour taste in your mouth before, after, and maybe even during the show is crowds. Let’s face it, protecting a small piece of pavement on Main Street, U.S.A. as if your life depended on it just isn’t what we signed up for. But, there’s no need to skip the shows for fear of being shoulder-to-shoulder with thousands of strangers, because we’re bringing you our 10 BEST tips to see the fireworks without the crowds!
We’ve seen some epic Loungefly backpacks in the past. From this festive holiday bag to this Princess Belle backpack, we’re pretty sure there’s a Loungefly collection for just about everyone!
And now we’ve spotted a NEW Disney Loungefly collection that is perfect for Sleeping Beauty fans!
Let’s be honest: going to Disney World is EXPENSIVE these days! With the recent price increases and the addition of paid FassPasses, there are a lot of extra costs you might not have originally budgeted! Recently, Disney released some hotel discounts for 2022, and a new ticket option was just unveiled for Florida residents. But there are other ways to save money!
Did you know it’s possible to stay next to all the Disney fun without staying in a Disney-owned hotel? A Disney Springs area hotel just announced a new discount — take a look and see what you think!
There’s a new food location coming to Disney Springs! Last year, we learned that the ice cream chain Salt & Straw would open a new location in Disney Springs, offering guests a new way to grab a frozen treat in Disney World.
At the time it was announced, Salt & Straw shared that they were aiming to open in 2022 –– this year! And it looks like we’re closer to getting an exact opening date.
Remember last fall when Disney World dropped a TON of 50th Anniversary Celebration snacks? Well, some of those treats have gone away…but they’ve recently been REPLACED by some new treats!
We’ve already checked out the Slue Foot Sue Fish Sandwich and the Donald Duck Dome Cake. Now, we’re heading over to Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom to take a look at their UPDATED Cheers to 50 Years ice cream sundae.
