Another month has come and gone in Disney World, which means it’s time for another roundup of the best and worst things we tried in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs! With the kickoff of EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays and the arrival of seasonal holiday treats in Disney World, there was no shortage of new menu items to try!

Each month this year, Disney has been releasing a new collectible plush celebrating classic Disney characters. So far, we’ve seen a Winnie the Pooh plush, Donald Duck plush, and some other plushes released. But, this momentous year in Disney history is concluding with a rare plush!

From popcorn bags that actually SMELL like popcorn to socks with a pocket in thems, there’s definitely something for every Disney fan. One collection that spawned a lot of unique items were the Stitch Crashes Disney collections! We saw Spaghetti Stitch, Pink and Blue Stitch, and even Banana Stitch. And now, we know when the next Stitch Crashes Disney collections will be released!
If you’re heading into Disney World this December, you can take in all the festive cheer with holiday decorations, new souvenirs, and special events.

Although there are a lot of new additions to see, there are also a few attractions and hotels that will NOT be open for at least part of December. Though Disney World can be a magical place, sometimes things don’t quite go to plan.
Magic Kingdom
We’ve seen rides shut down for technical issues, evacuated, or even closed due to smoke! Today, as we were walking through Magic Kingdom, we noticed that a popular ride was closed and being evacuated.
Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars hotel) is set to open in March of 2022 and we can’t wait!

We’ve heard so many exciting things about this experience, including details about the food, a look at the merchandise, a peek inside the starcruiser, information about the lightsaber training experience, and MORE. A stay at the Star Wars Hotel isn’t cheap though. What if you could manage to stay there for FREE? Well, you might be able to if you enter in a very special sweepstakes!
There are a ton of delicious places to eat at Disney World, but there are also great restaurants off-property!
Portillo’s
The Disney World area in particular has seen a host of popular new chain restaurants pop up recently, like Portillo’s, White Castle, and there is also another Chicken Guy! in progress! And, we just learned of another new restaurant that will open soon near Disney World!
Earlier this year, Scarlett Johansson sued Disney over her Black Widow contract following its unconventional joint release in theatres and on Disney+.
