Airport Crowds
Travel restrictions remained in place for a while in the U.S., but were recently lifted to vaccinated travelers. However, now more restrictions have been put into place again due to the Omicron variant of the virus spreading. And now, there is an update on mask mandates for travel in the U.S.
 The holidays are coming up fast, which means we’re all scrambling to get our Christmas gift lists checked off ASAP.

Happy holidays! Now that the holidays have arrived in Disney World and at Disneyland, it’s time to get that dose of cheer that only Disney holiday movies can provide!

So we’ve scoured Disney+ for all the holiday movies you can watch right now on the streaming subscription service. So put on your fluffiest pajamas and slippers and curl up on the sofa with a warm blanket and a hot cup of cocoa, and let’s get to it!
Attention Star Wars fans! If you’re looking forward to the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+, then you’ll want to hear about a new merchandise collection launching from Columbia Sportswear!

The collection will launch on December 3rd online and in select Columbia stores, and it will also include a limited number of signed items that will be sold for an excellent cause!
Disney World’s theme parks aren’t the only places to go for holiday treats! While we enjoyed some returning sweets today like the deliciously spiced Menagerie Cupcake at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we also checked out the resort hotels to see what festive snacks they had this season!

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, we found a pair of treats at The Mara that may be worth going out of your way to try (while you’re there, check out their gorgeous tree in the lobby and say hi to some of their animals!).

We’ve been hanging out at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, enjoying the beautiful park (and it really is gorgeous, isn’t it), checking out all the rides, and seeing what’s new. So let’s get on with some updates!
There are holiday decorations to see and treats to try all over Disney World, including in hotels!
Grand Floridian’s Christmas Tree is up!
You can get Gingerbread Popcorn in the Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa, stop by Disney’s Beach and Yacht Clubs for their Holiday Bon Bons, and now you can visit Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for another holiday treat made with…eggnog!
UPDATE: As of this morning, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has reopened.
Unfortunately, sometimes rides break down in Disney World.
Splash Mountain closed
Whether for technical difficulties, weather, or something unknown, it is usually unexpected when you’re in the parks. Today, one ride was shut down in Disney World due to smoke.
