Attention Star Wars fans! If you’re looking forward to the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+, then you’ll want to hear about a new merchandise collection launching from Columbia Sportswear!

The collection will launch on December 3rd online and in select Columbia stores, and it will also include a limited number of signed items that will be sold for an excellent cause!
Disney World’s theme parks aren’t the only places to go for holiday treats! While we enjoyed some returning sweets today like the deliciously spiced Menagerie Cupcake at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we also checked out the resort hotels to see what festive snacks they had this season!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, we found a pair of treats at The Mara that may be worth going out of your way to try (while you’re there, check out their gorgeous tree in the lobby and say hi to some of their animals!).

We’ve been hanging out at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, enjoying the beautiful park (and it really is gorgeous, isn’t it), checking out all the rides, and seeing what’s new. So let’s get on with some updates!
There are holiday decorations to see and treats to try all over Disney World, including in hotels!
Grand Floridian’s Christmas Tree is up!
You can get Gingerbread Popcorn in the Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa, stop by Disney’s Beach and Yacht Clubs for their Holiday Bon Bons, and now you can visit Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for another holiday treat made with…eggnog!
UPDATE: As of this morning, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has reopened.
Unfortunately, sometimes rides break down in Disney World.
Splash Mountain closed
Whether for technical difficulties, weather, or something unknown, it is usually unexpected when you’re in the parks. Today, one ride was shut down in Disney World due to smoke.
It may feel like Disney World has been celebrating the holiday season for weeks now (after all, the first night of Disney Very Merriest After Hours was way back in early November!), but we’re still seeing new and returning seasonal treats pop up around the parks and resorts!
Merry Menagerie
Several treats debuted today, including the Elf Dome Cake! Next up, we’re heading to Flame Tree Barbecue to snack on a returning sweet.
There have been some major changes in leadership at the Walt Disney Company over the last two years!

When Bob Iger stepped down as CEO and was replaced by Bob Chapek in early 2020, some changes were made to the company as roles shifted. Since then, Bob Iger has been Chairman of the Board for the Walt Disney Company, but now that is changing.
Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration kicked off in October and is going strong!
Cinderella Castle is ready to continue celebrating the 50th Anniversary!
We’ve seen a new cavalcade, fireworks, and merchandise, as well as tried a LOT of special food for the occasion. Another way Disney is celebrating is with new fireworks dessert parties in Magic Kingdom. And, more availability just opened up for the parties!
Happy Holidays, everyone! We’ve officially eaten our way through Thanksgiving and now we’re gearing up for the time of year when we want to shop ’til we drop!
