EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays kicked off on November 26th and we’ve got all the info, all the tips, and the ultimate list of our “Best of the Fest” food picks for the 2021 festival. If you’re wondering what items you shouldn’t miss at this year’s festival, you’ve come to the right place.
The holidays are a busy time in Disney World, and for a good reason — there are just so many things to do!
Magic Kingdom Holiday Decorations
Festival of the Holidays is going on in EPCOT, decorations are up around the parks and hotels, Very Merriest After Hours takes place in Magic Kingdom on certain nights, and you can even see Santa around the resort. So, naturally, a lot of people want to enjoy the festivities, which means park pass reservations can be limited. But, a bunch of park passes for December part of January were just replenished!
Planning for a Disney vacation can involve many different things, like being prepared for the weather, scheduling dining reservations, or mapping out your park days.
You will probably need to prepare for rain!
But, even if you plan everything down to the minute, there are some things that are simply out of your control. One of those things is if a ride is going to be open or not, as refurbishments do take place on different rides throughout the year. And, if you’re planning to be at Disneyland Resort in January of 2022, there are some new ride closures you should know about!
Some people (like our DFB reporters) are lucky enough to visit Disney World all the time. But, some of us aren’t that lucky. Maybe it’s been a few weeks, months, or even years since your last Disney trip.
Magic Kingdom
We get it. Going to Disney World can be really expensive and sometimes things happen that keep us away from this “home away from home” for a long time. Well, if you’re missing Disney and wishing you could be right there in the magic, this post could be great and/or terrible for you. It’s great because we’re about to share a whole BUNCH of videos that’ll remind you of all of the amazing things Disney has to offer. It’s also terrible because you might just find yourself booking a Disney trip A.S.A.P. after watching these (but hey, that’s not such a bad thing!).

Over the years, Disney’s list of banned items and activities has grown and, while some of them you can probably guess (like weapons and illegal substances) others are a bit more surprising. And, that’s what we’re covering today!
It’s only a few weeks until the December 17th release of Spider-Man: No Way Home and we’re very excited to see the new movie!

Earlier this year, we shared the news that fireworks cruises and dessert parties were returning to Magic Kingdom. When Magic Kingdom’s newest fireworks spectacular Disney Enchantment debuted with three new dessert parties available, we were able to check them out!

While we were able to check these offerings out when they returned, recently we’ve been receiving multiple inquiries from readers who are saying that they are unable to book these fireworks packages in after January 21st, 2022.
