It’s time for the holidays in Disney World!
Along with the VERY busy crowds, there was some surprising news this week, like learning about a new Genie+ booking option, or finding out about another Magical Express replacement. Take a look!
Disney Genie has been out for a while now and we’ve learned a LOT about the new planning and ride reservations service!
Along with a COPIOUS amount of articles (seriously, we’ve written an encyclopedia’s worth of stuff about Genie), we’ve also been cranking out a bunch of TikToks (TikToks are short videos you can watch and share on your computer or phone) talking about everything you need to know about Genie! These are great little soundbites of information that can keep you up to date in just a few minutes. Let’s take a look at all the DFB TikToks you can watch if you’re still lost when it comes to Genie.
It’s that time of the year when the weather starts cooling off a bit and we even start thinking we might even need a sweater at night (yes, it DOES happen occasionally in Florida).
It’s also the holiday season, which means while we’re enjoying all the fun holiday decor at Disney World while we start buying ALL the new holiday merchandise, we also want to eat serious winter comfort food. And you know what we’re talking about, right? SOUP! We want soup!
What says holidays more than fun holiday cookies? And we have CERTAINLY had our share of them (hello, EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll!).
But perhaps the most iconic of holiday cookies is the gingerbread man, but we love it when Disney puts a new twist on that old favorite. Now, we’ve seen plenty of Mickey Gingerbread Cookies, but now, Disney has shared how they’ve made some Pooh-inspired gingerbread cookies!
2021 has come to a close, and it’s time to take a look back down memory lane (for better or for worse) and some of the food and drink items we tried at Disney World over the past year. We’re in the parks every day trying the latest dining offerings (while also re-visiting restaurants throughout the year!), so we’ve experienced the full range of what the parks and resorts have had to offer.
Today, we’re sharing with you our “hall of fame” when it comes to the best as well as the worst things we tried in Disney World this year! If you’ve followed along with our monthly installments, then you may recognize a few of these selections! Let’s waste no time and dive right into what stood out to our team the most in 2021 (in no particular order!).
Let’s just say that we’ve been to Disney World more than a “few” times. 😉
We pretty much consider ourselves theme park experts at this point, and if you’ve reached that milestone as well, then we may have some things in common. There are quite a few Disney-centric habits we’ve picked up over our years of visiting the theme parks, and sometimes they carry over into the real world!
Happy Holidays to our DFB Readers!
We’re back with another video, and we thought we’d spread some holiday cheer by telling you about some of our most hilarious stories from Disney World. So sit back, enjoy some Christmas cookies and maybe even a cup of hot cocoa or eggnog and get ready to laugh!
The Gingerbread Almond Cake Pop at Golden Oak Outpost in Magic Kingdom is a delicious holiday handheld treat!
If you’ve been craving this treat (like we have!), look no further! We’ve got the recipe for you right here.
We love a delicious festive treat, and right now Disney World has a ton of options.
From mousse shaped like a reindeer to cupcakes with polar bear decorations, gingerbread cake pops to Christmas cookie sundaes, there are all kinds of holiday snacks available in the Disney parks. But what if you can’t make it into Disney World right now? Don’t worry! We’ve got a Disney holiday treat recipe that’ll bring this festive season straight into your house. [Read more…]
Happy holidays everyone! There’s plenty of holiday fun to be had at Disneyland Resort with Festival of Holidays and at Disney World with Festival of the Holidays, but what about at home?
Recently, Disney showcased a new, DIY way you can add some Disney magic to your home this holiday season!
