It’s Festival of the Holidays!
The festival kicks off TODAY, November 26th, and runs through December 30th and we’re making sure we see EVERYTHING there is to see. There are lots of food booths (called Holiday Kitchens!) and we’re paying a visit to EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Our next stop is over in the Mexico Pavilion, where we’re trying out the eats at Las Posadas Holiday Kitchen!

While at the Festival, you can enjoy a whole bunch of tasty treats, check out some returning entertainment, and check out special activities like the Olaf scavenger hunt. If there was any doubt whether or not the holiday season (and its crowds) had arrived in Disney World, we’re certainly in the thick of it now! With a large number of guests enjoying the parks over the Thanksgiving holiday, Park Pass Reservation availability has been more scarce this week than it has in recent months!

We’ve been making our way through the DELICIOUS items at the food booths, keeping an eye out for little Olafs, and are super excited for the return of Candlelight Processional. Right now, we’re tackling one of the NEW items at the Festival and it is truly the fried holiday dessert we never knew we needed.

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt is one of Disney’s newer additions to their EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, featuring a search for Olaf statues hidden throughout EPCOT’s World Showcase. If you find all the Olaf statues around EPCOT, you’ll get a free prize!

The International Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT features several Holiday Kitchens, which are booths around the park that have festive snacks, treats, and drinks from around the world. You can taste Thanksgiving and Christmas snacks at the American Holiday Table, find various holiday donuts at the Donut Box, and even follow the smell of delicious cooked nuts over to the new Chestnuts & Good Cheer booth. Happy Holidays from EPCOT! We’re eating our way through the park on the first day of this year’s Festival of the Holidays. It has already been quite the full morning in the park as we’ve browsed this year’s festival merchandise and learned that our favorite purple dragon Figment waits until after Thanksgiving to change into his holiday attire. But now, it’s time to EAT!
