Every month at Disney Springs, Gideon’s releases special desserts and they have people lining up for hours! Some people might rope drop Slinky Dog Dash or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but us? We rope drop a bakery. And we’d do it again! Gideon’s has given us some incredible treats like this mint chocolate cake and a spicy churro cookie. It has been a busy day for us over here covering EVERYTHING that went down at the first day of Festival of the Arts! Between an insanely long line for a popcorn bucket that turned into the next meme/charity fund and some of the strangest food combinations we have ever heard of, we’ve seen some things this weekend. One of the things we’ve been seeing a lot of is art! (We’d hope so, given the name of the festival and all.) This piece in particular is as shiny as it is pricey!
When Disney World first announced that a Figment Popcorn Bucket was coming to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, we knew it would be popular. However, we don’t think we knew the half of it!

Because that popcorn bucket debuted yesterday with the festival, and guests were standing in a LONG line waiting HOURS to get their hands on a little Figgy of their own. HOURS, folks. And that doesn’t even count the people who were just in line trying to get a grilled cheese (seriously, why did Disney decide to put the popcorn bucket at a food booth?).
It seems like there are countless restaurants across Disney World. Between the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, there’s a restaurant for just about everyone. If that’s true, then the opposite must also be true, and there are restaurants that just aren’t going to vibe with every single guest!

Typhoon Lagoon
The Blizzard Beach water park recently closed for refurbishment, but Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon recently reopened (and brought some new snack options with it!). Typhoon Lagoon isn’t always available, though. In fact, it will be temporarily closed on select days in January.
