There’s a new food location coming to Disney Springs! Last year, we learned that the ice cream chain Salt & Straw would open a new location in Disney Springs, offering guests a new way to grab a frozen treat in Disney World.

At the time it was announced, Salt & Straw shared that they were aiming to open in 2022 –– this year! And it looks like we’re closer to getting an exact opening date.
Remember last fall when Disney World dropped a TON of 50th Anniversary Celebration snacks? Well, some of those treats have gone away…but they’ve recently been REPLACED by some new treats!

We’ve already checked out the Slue Foot Sue Fish Sandwich and the Donald Duck Dome Cake. Now, we’re heading over to Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom to take a look at their UPDATED Cheers to 50 Years ice cream sundae.

Recently, Disney announced that some of the 50th anniversary treats in Magic Kingdom would no longer be available and would be replaced by new foods. And, while we’ve seen that happen around the park today, one treat is actually being added to instead of being taken away!
Do you consider yourself a soft pretzel connoisseur? Is the Biergarten restaurant a must-visit when you’re in EPCOT? Do you own a pair of lederhosen? Well, dear German-loving friends, if you said “yes” to any of those questions, you might want to take a look at the new merchandise that just debuted in Disney World!

Although these new items are themed after a certain European country that happens to have a home in the World Showcase, we found this new merchandise collection in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Among a new selection of sweet and savory items like Croque Monsieur Flatbread, a Haunted Mansion Push Pop (no really), and even a new Dole Whip Float, is this odd-sounding sandwich that we had to try today, so come along with us as we check it out!
In case you hadn’t noticed, Disney World is still celebrating its big 50th anniversary. In fact, they’re JUST getting started!

And, although we love seeing new 50th anniversary merchandise pop up in the shops, y’all know that what we’re really excited about is the FOOD (even though SO MUCH of it is dyed blue). We’ve been eating all the 50th anniversary snacks, but recently, some foods have gone away and been replaced by new treats. And, we tried out one of those new snacks today in Magic Kingdom!
