Lately, the seasons have been all mixed up in Disney World.

2022 is already shaping up to be a memorable year at Disney World! With the 50th Anniversary Celebration continuing all year long, we’re excited to see what new offerings are on the horizon (including some new attractions, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind).

One of the LEAST magical things about Disney World is how much your feet can hurt at the end of a long day in the parks. Each of the four parks is pretty big, so you’re likely to walk a long way, no matter where you’re visiting.
Our reporters — who are in the parks every day — walk about 10 to 12 MILES every day. On busy days, and especially if they’re park hopping, they’ll walk up to 15 miles. 😱 Needless to say, you’re going to want some high-quality footwear for your Disney World vacation. But how do you know which shoes to choose? Here’s what the DFB readers said when we asked them which shoes they wear to the parks. [Read more…]
The new year is bringing some major changes to the Disney parks. From upcoming attractions to new technology, there’s always something new around the corner. 2022 marked the end of Disney’s Magical Express, the start of a new Star Wars story, and a whole new era of vacationing in Disney World. But some other changes are happening outside the Disney parks that we need to discuss!
January 1st was Public Domain Day, meaning that a slew of copyrights from 1926 expired and are now classified as public domain. Why does this matter? A few famous stories we know and love are now able to be published, modified, and performed by ANYONE without having to pay a licensing fee.
Live entertainment has had a tumultuous few years.
For instance, the new Cirque du Soleil show in Disney Springs, Drawn to Life, had a significantly delayed opening due to the global health crisis. Last year, it finally did open but now, it seems there has been a sudden cancellation of a performance.
