Hi, DFB friends! We’re back with more of what’s new from Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The week of the Christmas holiday brought lots of crowds to Disney World and a few surprises along the way! Check out all the news from Animal Kingdom.
Welcome back to another roundup of what’s new at Disney Springs! If you’re on the hunt for the latest must-have souvenir, this shopping and dining district is a great place to start your search.
Today, we’re reviewing some of the latest merchandise finds across several stores as the holiday season reaches its peak! Let’s take a look at what we found on our recent visits.
Disney merchandise is even better when it’s on SALE!
And, today is your lucky day, because BoxLunch is having a big sale online! You can get up to 50% off of clearance items, 20% off the WHOLE site, and FREE shipping with a purchase of at least $60. Let’s check out some of the Disney items on sale!
We’ve seen a whole bunch of 50th Anniversary items released over the past several weeks since the celebrations began in October.
Some items haven’t been too expensive, while others have been priced at $1,000! Now, 3 NEW 50th Anniversary collectibles have arrived online, and some are available in the parks too. But we’ve got to warn you — these aren’t cheap!
It may still be December, but Disney is already looking toward the spring!
While Disney is dropping new 50th anniversary merchandise, they’re also releasing two brand new spring collections! If you like tie-dye and comfy jogger sets, you’ll want to read on.
Disney World has a variety of ways to start your day, from fun character breakfasts to Starbucks lines.
Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company is also a super popular spot to grab your morning caffeine, with locations in all of the parks, many of the resorts, and Disney Springs. And now, Joffrey’s is even celebrating Disney World’s 50th anniversary!
It’s New Year’s Eve week!
We’ve already taken a look at what New Year’s Eve itself will look like in Disney World and what kind of fireworks and other festivities you can expect. But one thing you might be wondering about are the CROWDS. We’ve seen some pretty large crowds in the parks ahead of Christmas. So what do the New Year’s Eve week crowds look like? Here’s what we’re seeing.
Some Disney merchandise only pops up for a very limited time and can be difficult to grab.
Some of the items that tend to be very popular in Disney World are the specially themed popcorn buckets. During Halloween this past year, we saw a VERY cool Mickey Mummy popcorn bucket released in Disneyland and (eventually) in Disney World. But if you didn’t get the chance to snatch up this beauty while it was in the parks, we’ve got a secret spot where you might want to look!
To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
The holidays can be a very busy travel season, with large crowds in theme parks, airports, and more. Orlando International Airport recently shared their expectations for some of the busiest travel days of the season — many of which surround the December holidays.
But with big travel crowds can come big complications. Over the past several days, we’ve seen thousands of flights canceled, and now it seems more cancelations are taking place.
How’s it going, DFB fam?
