Happy holidays everybody! Tonight is the first night of Magic Kingdom’s Very Merriest After Hours, a ticketed event featuring exclusive entertainment, food, and more.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Tonight also marks the return of parades at Disney World (we have only had cavalcades since the closure) with Very Merry After Hours’ exclusive parade, the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade!Â
We’re at the first night of Disney Very Merriest After Hours, and we are completely immersed in the holiday season at Disney World!

While the After Hours event features some returning entertainment like Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, it also includes a BRAND-NEW castle stage show called Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories. We grabbed a spot by the stage in front of Cinderella Castle to check it out!
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square is known for delicious treats like chicken and waffle sandwiches, funnel cakes, and seasonal drinks like the Doom Berry!

We’ve been making our way around Magic Kingdom today trying a bunch of new holiday treats. But now, we’re trying a new holiday funnel cake at this fan-favorite quick service spot!
It’s officially the holiday season in Disney World, because tonight is the first Very Merriest After Hours event!

This is a separately ticketed event held in Magic Kingdom on select nights from now until December 21st. The event includes Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, the new Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories stage show, and so much more! We’re live from the party checking everything out, including all of the party exclusive treats, so come with us as we try out a special new churro!

We’ve been enjoying the holiday decorations at the parks AND the holiday foods, and we are SO ready for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays later this month. But tonight, we’re LIVE at the very first Disney Very Merriest After Hours Party!
