Howdy from Walt Disney World!
Things have been pretty busy around the parks as we’re in the middle of the holiday season. And, it makes sense that they’re busy, because there is so much to do! From EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays to the giant gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, it’s easy to have some holiday fun at Disney World. We like to keep up with how lines are looking in order to gauge how busy it is, so here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.
To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
Although Disney World reopened a little over a year ago, things still aren’t completely back to “normal”. As the pandemic has spread, Disney has updated its health and safety measures to help keep people safe. Recently, we reported that the White House COVID-19 report listed Orange County (where Disney World is located) as a “rapid riser” county.
Now, we’ve got an update to share about the state of Florida amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s no secret, we LOVE ourselves a good cupcake!
There’s definitely no shortage of cupcakes around Disney World, much to our delight! With everything from seasonal flavors, to celebratory designs, there are tons of cupcake confections to choose from.
How’s it going everyone? We made it through another week, so here’s your update on what’s new at the Disney Hotels!
There’s lots to cover this week, so let’s get started!
One of the most fun things to do around Disney World is finding hidden Mickeys!
Hidden Mickeys are Mickey shapes secretly placed around Disney World, with some more obvious than others. You can spot them in flooring, on ceilings, and even in your food (even if that’s by chance)! They’re so fun to find! Check out what we just discovered.
Disney is pretty much a machine that endlessly churns out merchandise that we want to buy.
Disney puts out merch. We think it’s cute. We buy it. The cycle continues. C’est la vie. This year in particular has been FULL of amazing merchandise for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World! They even invented a new color for it! We’ve already seen SO much 50th merch, and it’s not stopping yet! [Read more…]
To celebrate the holiday season, D23 is hosting its Season of Magic Sweepstakes, with a new prize awarded every day for 23 days in December!
We’ve been keeping an eye out on each of the drawings so far this month, and we’ve seen some awesome daily prizes like a Lego Encanto Madrigal House Set, a Mulan Imperial Palace Light-Up Figurine, and a 50th Anniversary Cookbook, to name a few.
One of the most important parts of the holidays is the drinks! Take away from that what you will.
And, the thing the drink comes in is basically as important as the drink itself! We already saw the beloved Jingle Bell Sipper return to Disneyland this year, and now, another fan-favorite Disney mug is joining it!
