After the opening of Drawn to Life (Cirque du Soleil’s new show coming to Disney Springs) was delayed just before its original opening date due to the global pandemic, the creators had time to think deeper about the show.
Drawn to Life is now set to open in Disney Springs on November 18th, and today we were able to attend a virtual media event with the creators. During the event, they talked in-depth about the show and how it serves as their love letter to animation. We learned that during the delay, the creators made some big, dynamic changes! Let’s get into it.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a real-life superhero? Well, when you’re visiting Disneyland Resort you can actually make that happen!
Avengers Campus is an entire land in Disney California Adventure dedicated to the Marvel superheroes that we’re used to seeing on the big screen. And, you’ll be able to experience more than a casual wave to Iron Man…you can actually become a superhero on the newest attraction, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Since opening, the attraction has operated with a virtual queue (something that many Disney fans have become used to when visiting the parks nowadays), but it seems that this has changed!

The holidays are officially kicking off soon in Disneyland Resort!
Holiday fireworks and the parade are coming back, and also returning is Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park. The festival runs from November 12th, 2021 through January 9th, 2022, so you’ll get a whole 59 days to take part in the celebrations, which include Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day! And, we just found out what ALL of the menus will be for the Festive Foods Marketplace at the festival!
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopened earlier this year, with its fun water slides, some new treats, and more.
The park has remained open for much of 2021, though it had some days where it did not show any operating hours. Well, if you were planning to visit this water park later this week, you might need to readjust those plans.
