Hey there, DFB friends! We’re at Disney Springs with some updates!
Disney Springs is celebrating the holidays right now with the Christmas Tree Stroll and LOTS of new holiday treats, so let’s get into it!
Disney World can cost a pretty penny!
From tickets to hotel rooms to souvenirs, it’s easy to spend a lot while on vacation in the Most Magical Place on Earth. It’s very rare we ever see prices go DOWN in Disney World. Instead, they seem to be returning at a higher cost. So, here are the things you’ll be paying more for in Disney World in 2022.
Welcome back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’ve been in the park lately checking out all the new food, holiday decorations, and, of course, KiteTails (we can’t get enough!). We like to keep you updated with what’s going on around the parks, so let’s see what’s new in Animal Kingdom!
Disney Genie recently launched in Walt Disney World, with free services that help you plan your day, as well as paid services that let you skip the standby lines for popular attractions.
It rolled out first at Disney World, but we now have a DATE for when Genie will launch at Disneyland Resort!
There are holiday treats galore in Disney World right now, whether you’re at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, heading to Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours event, or just visiting the parks and resorts.
But, some of the best snacks can actually be found outside the parks, at Disney World’s hotels. We’re heading to a popular resort today to check out a returning treat that looks very different this year — but how will the taste compare to last year’s version? [Read more…]
Disney Springs is filled with delicious restaurants, from casual dining to table service.
Chicken Guy! (yes, with the exclamation point) is lead by celebrity chef Guy Fieri and is one of the more underrated dining spots in Disney Springs. Known for serving 22 different sauces alongside their tasty chicken tenders, you can take a trip to Flavortown for both a delicious and budget-friendly meal. Want to try Chicken Guy! but don’t want to visit Disney Springs? You have a new option in Central Florida!
Disney World has been gradually reopening its hotels throughout this year.
BoardWalk Inn is back, Animal Kingdom Lodge has reopened, and you can stay at Port Orleans again! In fact, ALL of the Disney World hotels are now open except for All Star Sports, which is under renovation. And, we have good news if you want to take a quick getaway to Disney World!
We’re big fans of eating around the world in EPCOT, and right now you can do that holiday-style with EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. This year’s festival had some returning favorites as well as new snacks, drinks, and even an entirely new holiday kitchen to try!
We’ve already got a list of our favorite items at this year’s festival, but we wanted to know what YOU liked best. We’ve been hosting the Festival of the Holidays Food Face-Off on our Instagram page, with readers voting for their faves. Now, we have finally arrived at the moment you’ve all been waiting for: the results are IN.
If you’ve never visited Disney’s Polynesian Resort, you’re missing out on some delicious food!
Even if you aren’t staying in a Polynesian room, it’s worth a visit just to check out the MANY food options at the resort. From restaurants like Kona Cafe to ‘Ohana to other spots like Pineapple Lanai and Trader Sam’s, there’s a little bit of something for everyone. Come along with us as we snack at the Polynesian!
Disney has been doing a lot of promoting its newest film, Encanto!
We’ve seen some awesome new merchandise online and in the parks, like beautiful blue Minnie ears, a toucan plush, and a lego set, there are new toys at McDonald’s from the movie, and attendees of Destination D23 even got access to an advanced screening. And now, there is a very special perk if you go see Encanto at a famous theater in California!
