THESE Disney World mistakes SCREAM “amateur hour.”
So don’t expose yourself as a grasshopper if YOU wanna be seen as the MASTER of your next vacation.
If you’ve spent any time outside in the Northern Hemisphere this summer, then you know just how hot it is out there.
Temperatures are soaring at Disney World (but we’ve got plenty of great tips on how to stay hydrated, cool, and find some shade!) and experts have even warned that this year’s Atlantic hurricane season will be worse because of warmer water temperatures as well. And, while we never thought we’d have to be worried about soda cans exploding on airplanes because of the heat, apparently, we do.
Many of us have to budget for our Disney World trips, including figuring out how to get all the sales, discounts, and deals we can find.
That’s why we’re always sharing when you can get Disney gift cards at a discount or when an airline has a great sale, we want you to know about these deals so you don’t miss out. However, there’s one ticket discount we’re not sure we’ve mentioned yet, and it may be one you don’t even know about. We will warn you, though, this discount might make you feel old (it’s okay, though, we ALL gotta get old someday).
We go to Disney World a LOT. Like, daily. So, we see a lot of Disney fans every day. We see Millennial Disney Adults, Gen Z Cast Members, and retired adults spending their free time in style.
After a while, you start to notice some trends in the parks and resorts. We’ve seen some stylish Gen Z Disney fans in Disney World lately, and now we’re sharing all their favorite Target essentials!

Characters are a ton of fun to interact with while hanging out in the Disney World parks!
Meeting characters is not just for kids! Kids and adults alike enjoy these special interactions. Hugging your favorite character can make anyone’s day extra special. There are some characters that you can find regularly around the parks. Joy, Mickey, Minnie, Ariel, Edna Mode, Olaf, and more have daily meet and greets in designated locations that you can visit. However, there are a few characters that roam at random times on random days, and some characters are extremely RARE to see out and about. The other day, we stumbled upon one of these rare meet-and-greets!
We know packing for Disney always consists of the same thing: Toothbrush? Check. Shoes? Check. Sunscreen that’s pretty much necessary thanks to the unforgivable Florida heat? Check X100.
The basics are necessary, but there are some items that real Disney pros pack to avoid any hiccups during their trip, and we think these should be just as necessary as shoes and sunscreen.
It’s been a few days since a massive IT outage caused problems across the world on July 19th.
Those problems were most evident at major airports, including Orlando International Airport, where the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop. This resulted in numerous flight delays. Now, several days later, some airlines are still struggling to get their planes in the air due to the issue.
What do you mean another week in Disney World has passed? Time flies when you’re having fun, right?
While we’ve been celebrating 15 years of DFB (and it doesn’t even seem like 15 years have passed!), we’ve been making our way around Disney World, doing what we do, eating nine snacks in one day (all FOR YOU), trying out some new ice cream treats, and keeping you updated on the best food in Disney World. We also spent some time looking over Disney World restaurant menus, and we’ve got some changes to tell you about.
For years, Disney World has experimented with different ways to skip the lines at its popular attractions. There was FastPass+, there were paper tickets and kiosks, and eventually, there was Genie+. These days, if you want to access the Lightning Lane (a.k.a. the shorter “express lane”), you need to pay an additional fee. As it stands currently (now through July 23rd, 2024), Disney Genie provides access to Lightning Lanes as well as other planning tools to help you maximize your time in Disney World. But soon, this service is changing.
In fact, BIG changes are coming to Genie+ at Disney World SOON! Starting July 24th, 2024, there will be an official name for the Lightning Lane service that is currently part of Disney Genie. Say hello to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, an updated version of Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes. OK, this may sound confusing, but we’re here to help! Recently, it seems like Disney has taken a step to help clear up some confusion, too.
If you’ve been searching for an elegant Disney World restaurant that won’t let you down, we’ve found your match!
We’ve been on a dining roll recently, reviewing restaurants and treat stops that haven’t failed us yet. Would one of the fanciest restaurants in all of Disney World break that streak for us? It was time to find out! [Read more…]
