Holiday overlays are one of our favorite parts of the season in Disney World! And, we couldn’t be more excited that the parks will be bringing them back to multiple attractions during the day and for Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours this year!
Christmas Decorations
In the past, we’ve seen holiday overlays at Tomorrowland Speedway, Jungle Cruise (AKA Jingle Cruise), Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, and beyond. While we’ve already seen holiday decorations sweep across the parks, it looks like one of our first attraction overlays is in progress too!
You probably already know about EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival, but did you know that there’s ANOTHER food and wine event in Disney World?

The “most spookiest time of the year” seems to have been pushed aside in favor of that other big thing that happened in October — the 50th Anniversary. Not to mention Christmas decorations (!!!) are already showing up on the scene! Honestly, it doesn’t feel like the Halloween we have come to look forward to at Disney World in past years. It got us wondering…did Disney World get cheated out of Halloween this year?
