It’s time to go over all the surprising and unexpected news from Disney World this week!

From the shocking price of this Disney World hotel to the return of fan-favorite shows, there have been some surprising announcements this week!
We’ve been pretty busy running around Disney World trying out all the 50th anniversary celebration snacks.

But just in case you forgot, it’s still Halloween, too, meaning that there are still TONS of Halloween treats to try. So far, we’ve had an amazing Halloween margarita flight, Halloween donuts, and a Halloween cupcake or two (or three…)! But today we’re singing the praises of two of our favorite returning spooky snacks!
Disney World’s 50th Anniversary has brought a lot of new offerings.
Harmonious
Perhaps the most exciting of these offerings are the new firework shows. We’ve already seen Disney Enchantment in Magic Kingdom and Harmonious in EPCOT. Disney fans certainly have big feelings about these new shows, but we noticed something particularly interesting about Harmonious. It’s not really a firework show, is it?
Sure, it’s still technically Halloween season at Disney World, and we’re still enjoying all the Halloween decor, merchandise, snacks, and more at the parks.

But…we’re also looking forward to the holidays at Disney World, and thanks to a new souvenir we just found, we’re ready to start decorating our Christmas tree!
As Disney nerds, we’ve seen some amazing Disney-inspired homes and apartments that have made our jaws drop from their sheer awesomeness.
We wished we could live here…
From a home designed by the same architect who designed Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle to an ACTUAL castle near Disney World to a home that came straight out of all our Disney design dreams, we’ve spent a lot of time wishing on stars for the $$$ to live in places like those!
We have many happy childhood memories reading Little Golden Books. And we love that so many Disney titles are available!
We love Disney books!
And some of the recent titles are sure to be big hits with kids, including one all about the 999 Happy Haunts of The Haunted Mansion, a book about The Mandalorian, a book about The Jungle Cruise, and even a Little Golden book adaptation of The Nightmare Before Christmas. And one of the collections we’ve been the most excited about is the Vault Collection, which throws it way back to 1971 with retro-themed Disney World souvenirs. We are here for it!
Disney World’s 50th anniversary kicked off on Friday, October 1st, and we were in the parks to take in all of the celebrations.

We tried a ton of new food items, saw new entertainment, checked out a new ride, and more! The day was exciting and historic, marking a huge milestone for Disney World — but that doesn’t mean it didn’t have its issues. We noticed some not-so-magical things happening on the 50th anniversary, and we’re here to share our experience and what could be done to fix or avoid these issues in the future.Â

We first got a sneak peek at the new interactive candy wall and some of the new treats — then the fan-favorite spot officially opened right before Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Since then, we’ve tried some of the new treats (including the controversial Skittles fudge), but today we spotted a new treat!
Traveling is fun, but it has its fair share of problems.

Many guests who visit the Disney Parks often have a tight schedule and plan for their trip, and something like a flight cancellation could alter those plans. Although Spirit Airlines recently had major cancellations, now another airline is cancelling hundreds of flights this weekend.Â
