A new gift shop and the reimagined Club Cool open up next week, followed by the grand opening of the Space 220 restaurant on September 20th. After that, the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World kicks off on October 1st with a new fireworks show, restaurant, and ride opening to the public. But what’s going on this week in the park? After months of being closed, shows have started to reopen and return to Broadway.

Then you’ll want to stop by the D23 Expo — The Ultimate Disney Fan Event! The next D23 Expo will be held in Anaheim, California on September 9th through the 11th, 2022. To attend this fan event, you’ll need to grab tickets and now we know just when those tickets will go on sale!
UPDATE: We’ve received several messages from readers that this Park Pass Reservation problem has been resolved. You should be able to upgrade tickets without losing Park Pass Reservations you’ve already booked.
Yesterday (September 8th) Disney World Annual Passes became available for purchase once again, under Disney’s new Annual Pass program.

One of the things you’re now able to do (if you want to) is upgrade your regular park tickets to an Annual Pass. By upgrading, you can apply the entire price you paid for your tickets into a select Annual Pass. But, before you do so, there’s a BIG thing you need to know about when it comes to Park Passes.
The Disney+ series The Mandalorian has proven to be a huge hit with Star Wars fans.
Baby Yoda Bakpacks
Not only is season 3 of the show coming soon, but one of the show’s breakout stars, Grogu (aka The Child, aka Baby Yoda) is EVERYWHERE. We’ve already seen our share of Grogu merchandise and Grogu snacks, but now we’re about to see a GIGANTIC baby Yoda hovering over New York!
