Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and more — there are SO many exciting things to check out in Disney World during December.
There are also a lot of things to set up for your trip including Park Passes, hotel reservations, ticket purchases, and flights to Disney World (if you’ll be flying there). How much does it cost to fly to Disney World in December? We’re taking a look right here.
Alice in Wonderland is a classic Disney film full of some of our favorite (and maybe a little mad) characters! Who could resist that big ol’ Cheshire grin? Or Alice’s imaginative mind?
If you’re a D23 member, listen up! Remember that EXPENSIVE Alice in Wonderland plush set? Well, a few of the characters are on shopDisney individually now — let’s take a look!
The Disney Genie service just launched in Disney World, and now you can pay for access to Lightning Lanes (previously known as FastPass+ lanes) for qualifying rides and attractions.
The Genie+ service is $15 per person, per day for over 40 different attractions, but with Individual Attraction Selection (or pay-per-ride) you pay for each ride individually, and the pay-per-ride premium attractions are 8 of the most popular rides in Disney World. So how do you decide which rides to choose? Which rides are worth the extra cost? Well, we asked you, dear readers, to vote for which Individual Attraction Selection rides you would actually pay for!
Can you believe that Avengers Campus opened THIS year?!
Back in June, we attended the opening day of the new land in Disney California Adventure where we tried some supersized (and super small!) food at Pym Test Kitchen. Now, for a limited-time, you can get a FREE souvenir with your Pym Test Kitchen meal!
Disney days can be crazy, with rushing to your favorite ride in the morning, trying to find the shortest lines, and navigating the crowds through the parks.
But we’re going to stop for just a minute and take a moment of Disney zen — because you deserve it. You’ve already made it through the week! Well done. Now take just a second for yourself to listen to the calming sounds of Disney World.
It’s Halloween weekend, but you know what’s going on at Disney World, right? The holidays are starting to sneak in because the holiday season officially begins on Monday!
We’ve already seen decorations going up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We’ve also had a sneak peek of some of the new holiday merchandise coming soon. And, well, you know us — we are ALL about the upcoming holiday snacks! But, as they say, first…COFFEE.
Happy Halloween weekend! The spookiest bakery in Disney World, Gideon’s Bakehouse, is back for the last weekend in October with a NEW limited-time treat. For anyone who’s been meaning to try the Frankenstein cookies or the Gingersnap Cold Brew, this is your last chance!
The final fall-inspired treat of the month is a cult classic among Gideon’s fans, but if you’re new to the Gideon’s Bakehouse fan club (welcome, by the way) you’re going to want to see this!
“ALOHA,” my friends!
Actually, scratch that… I’d like to say “Aloha” to our family of DFB readers.
Why? Because today we’re talking about all things ‘Ohana! And if you’ve dined at this beloved Disney World restaurant– or if you’ve ever seen the movie Lilo & Stitch — you are likely familiar with this phase: “Ohana means FAMILY.”

They’ve been kind enough to share their stories of ‘Ohana with us through a conversation on Facebook, including their great and not-so-great experiences.
And we, in turn, are sharing their thoughts and stories with you here, so you can know what to expect and perhaps how to prepare for your first — or next! — visit to ‘Ohana.
So pull up a chair, relax, and get ready to dig into the feast of information about what ‘Ohana, the restaurant, really means… . [Read more…]
