Not only are there tons of restaurants and shops to visit, but Disney Springs has special celebrations with exclusive food and experiences. This year, we’ve celebrated Black History Month, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Princess Week, and more, but now it’s time for Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month!
Like most weeks in Disney World, this one was filled with some surprising and unexpected news.
New Banners Have Arrived
This week brought us the expected opening of Creations Shop in EPCOT and lots more 50th anniversary decorations throughout the parks, but there was still quite a bit of unexpected news from Disney! Let’s take a look at all the unexpected things in Disney World this week.

Not only is the park in the middle of celebrating all things Halloween, but it’s also gearing up for the massive 50th celebration that begins in a few weeks. On top of that, Disney World is also honoring Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month with a celebration that lasts through October 15th.

So, we’ll admit that we are huge Pixar fans. Every movie the company has released has hit us RIGHT in the feels. And no, we’re not just talking about Inside Out, which quite literally introduced us to our emotions.

We love seeing merchandise representing Pixar films, like fun Toy Story ears, merch representing Soul, the awesome Luca items we’ve seen, and more. But Pixar just revealed a brand new clothing collection that is for the company’s most hardcore fans!

With Disney World’s 50th anniversary coming up in less than 2 weeks, we’re very curious about what crowds look like right now! Are people waiting until the celebration starts to visit, or trying to squeeze in a trip beforehand to watch Happily Ever After one last time?
