Starbucks and 7 More Retailers Announced for Disney’s Flamingo Crossings Shopping Center

There are lots of things to do on Disney World property, but sometimes you might find yourself looking for a hotel, convenience store, restaurant, or something else near Disney World, but off property. That’s where the Flamingo Crossings shopping center can come in.

Disney has been working on the planning of the Flamingo Crossings shopping center for quite some time now. The shopping center is located just a few minutes from Disney World property and is already home to some hotels and a new housing area for Disney’s College Program participants. It is also set to feature restaurants, shops, and more that Disney guests can enjoy within a close distance from the parks. Now, more retailers have been announced for this space!

Select Guests Can Ride Rise of the Resistance BEFORE Hollywood Studios Opens

Today marks the first day that guests did not need to obtain a boarding pass to ride Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

‘Muppets Haunted Mansion’ Is Taking Over Muppet*Vision 3D In Disney World

As part of this season, a new Muppets Haunted Mansion Halloween special is coming to Disney+ on October 8th. The show will feature original songs, celebrity appearances, and, of course, lots of Muppets. You can watch the official trailer for it now. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance remains one of the most popular rides in Disney World.

Until recently, the only way to experience this attraction, however, was to tap those fingers VERY quickly and try to get one of a limited number of available Boarding Groups. But, starting today, September 23rd, Disney paused the use of Boarding Groups for Rise of the Resistance. That means you can now just hop in the regular standby line to get in on all the Star Wars fun. Just how long did it take us to ride the ride today?
