The Halloween season may be well known for its tasty treats, decorations, and parties, but it’s also a time of year that’s filled with fun music!
Disney wants to fill your home with holiday favorites, and we aren’t talking about ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ or ‘Frosty the Snowman.’ Today, we’re all about ‘This is Halloween’ and ‘Cruella de Vil.’
If you’ve ever been to Disney World, then you know that ride preshows are essential to the story.
The preshows set up the events for the ride and often contain some quote-worthy scripts and one-liners. Many of them have massive fanbases filled with people who can quote them from beginning to end. And recently, a popular pre-show character finally made his way to Disney World!
Disney has been involved in a very public lawsuit the past few months with actress Scarlett Johansson.
Johansson, who played Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sued the company over their release of her film Black Widow simultaneously in movie theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access, saying that it was a violation of her contract. The two parties have gone back and forth in recent weeks, with representatives speaking out from both sides, and today Disney CEO Bob Chapek had some more comments to share about how Disney compensates its talent.
UPDATE: Space 220 Lounge is now accepting reservations.Â
As you might have heard, we had a pretty out-of-this-world day at Space 220 yesterday.
We reviewed EVERYTHING on the menu at the new spot including lunch, dinner, and the lounge offerings. But it is NOT easy to grab a table at this just-opened spot. The restaurant is first-come, first-serve with a virtual queue through next Monday, and after that reservations are booked into November. But did you know that you’ll be able to dine at Space 220 WITHOUT a reservation?Â
Can you believe we’re DAYS away from Disney World’s 50th anniversary?!
The parks have already been busy with placing golden statues, huge Cinderella banners, testing fireworks, and more in time for the celebrations. But, you don’t have to go to the parks to take a bit of that 50th anniversary magic with you on the go!
Disney+ took the streaming world by storm when it launched back in November of 2019.
Since then, we have seen the premiere of major blockbuster movies as well as critically acclaimed original series, like The Mandalorian. The service has been providing content for $7.99 a month without any ads in the middle of shows or movies — but, it may not stay that way forever.
Remember back when Disney was hosting its most recent quarterly earnings call, and CEO Bob Chapek announced this somewhat mysterious event called “Disney+ Day,” which celebrates the two-year anniversary of Disney+?
We just learned about a LOT that we can expect to be included in this event, which will take place on November 12th, and Disney+ subscribers can even experience special perks in Disney Parks! Learn more here.
Marvel Entertainment has been crushing it with the amount of new content lately!
Shows like Wandavision and Loki have become incredibly popular and movies like Black Widow brought Marvel fans back into theaters for the first time since the pandemic began. Marvel’s latest movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was released just a few weeks ago, and brought in HUGE numbers in its premiere weekend. But, since the movie was released exclusively in theaters, many are wondering when it will be available on Disney+, and we have the answer for you!
To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
Over the past few months, we’ve seen some health and safety changes in Disney World.
Health and safety protocols were diminishing around the property at the beginning of the summer, but the surge of the Delta variant caused Disney to reinstate masks indoors again a few months ago. Originally, Disney noted that the Delta variant didn’t have a very big impact on the parks, but now, CEO Bob Chapek has shared otherwise.
