It’s almost time for the holidays and Disney is already giving us a taste of this year’s holiday merch!
Let’s take a look at some of the new holiday merch that just arrived on shopDisney!
It’s here, y’all — the Disney Genie has arrived in Disney World.
That means that you can now get custom itineraries and recommendations for park attractions with the free Genie (on the My Disney Experience app), and you can pay to skip the lines using Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selections (Pay-Per-Ride). We’ve already taken a look at how to use these features and some unexpected bumps we hit along the way. Now we’re explaining how rider swap works with the new Genie.
Disney Genie, Genie+, and Individual Attraction Selection (or pay-per-ride) have arrived in Disney World!
We’ve been sharing all kinds of updates about the service in terms of how to buy Genie+, how to buy Individual Attraction Selections, and more. With Genie+, you’ll pay that set $15 per ticket, per day to select return times for Lightning Lanes at many attractions across the parks. But, when using Genie+, there’s an important rule you’ll want to be aware of.
Today has already been pretty overwhelming as we welcome the arrival of the new Disney Genie system in Disney World!
There’s the free Genie tip board in the My Disney Experience app, with suggestions for helping you plan out your day. If you want to really maximize your schedule, you can purchase the Disney Genie+ add-on to skip the standby lines for attractions and use the new Lightning Lanes. But if you want to use Lightning Lanes on some of Disney World’s most popular rides, you’ll need to purchase access individually — and Disney Resort guests get an advantage!
Now that Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection (Pay-Per-Ride) have launched in Disney World, there are more ways than ever to get on attractions.
You can use the standby line, you can pay for Genie+ to skip the lines on certain attractions, or you can pay a separate fee for the most popular attractions to skip the lines there. But one more option is still available in the Disney World parks!
The day has officially arrived — Disney Genie has made its debut in Disney World. And, of course, we’re giving you a look at how Genie, Genie+, and Individual Attraction Selection is changing the game when it comes to your visit.
If you’re still not entirely sure what Disney Genie is, don’t worry. There are two versions of the new mobile feature: one is a planning tool that’s entirely free to guests, and another is the paid Genie+ feature, which is the replacement for FastPass. We’re here to break down everything happening with Disney Genie, and right now we’re giving you a full look at how to use the new free service!
It’s Disney Genie day, everyone! And, we are giving you a FULL look at how the new planning tool is changing Disney World moving forward.
So far, we’ve shared a first look at how to buy Genie+, Individual Attraction Selection, and an unexpected cost. But, we’ve got yet another Disney Genie feature you’ll want to see before your next trip to Disney World!
If you thought waking up at 7AM to get a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance (back when the ride only used boarding groups) or (more recently) Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was stressful, GET READY.
Recently, Disney World launched its NEW Genie, Genie+, and Individual Attraction Selection Services — the last 2 essentially serving as paid replacements for FastPass+. And on the launch day for these new services, 7AM became a whole other ball game.
We might be obsessed with all things Disney FOOD, but the rides and attractions have their place too!
Whether you’re a fan of the classics or a thrill ride junkie (or anything in between), Disney World has a ride for you. But what do you think your favorite Disney World attraction says about you? We’re here to let you know! And we’ll also give you some ideas for your next shopping trip, based on your favs.
As the Genie once said (or sang), “You got some power in your corner now”: Disney Genie+ has arrived in Disney World. Between Disney’s two new paid services, Individual Attraction Selection (IAS or pay-per-ride) and Genie+, guests can now skip the lines at many of their favorite attractions and let Disney’s Genie service plan their day.
After a long period of speculation and waiting, we were finally able to test out Disney’s new paid FastPass+ replacement systems today! One important thing to note is that there is a limited number of Individual Attraction Selections available per day and they can sell out. So the question is: how quickly did the first Individual Attraction Selection option sell out today?
