The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is OPEN in Magic Kingdom!

We’ve already had an opportunity to check out the new ride, but we’re so excited for it to officially be open! As part of the celebration, Disney announced new souvenirs, entertainment, and of course, snacks to welcome Tiana’s, and we’re checking a few of those eats out right now!
OK, Disney fans. We don’t often recommend overpaying for Disney snacks — especially if they’re just mediocre. But when it comes to coffee — all bets are off. We need a hit of caffeine to get us going in the morning, and if that means heading down to the hotel lobby for a cup of coffee, we are willing to spend $6 to $7 for a cup of cold brew. Anyone else?

Sure, you can brew your own coffee in your Disney hotel room, but nothing compares to the stuff you can get at a cafe. And for a while, one Disney coffee shop has been closed, and we’ve been waiting for it to open! But finally, the time has come. A handy little coffee spot is BACK!
Nighttime entertainment in Disney World is something you should NOT miss (even though we occasionally will tell you to skip fireworks for rides, and yes, we’re ironic like that). The problem with watching nighttime entertainment, though…involves all the other people who have the exact same idea. Nighttime fireworks bring serious crowds, and sometimes it’s just not worth navigating the crowds — or it’s not even POSSIBLE to navigate the crowds — to get good fireworks views.

But you do have other options. Some you may know about, like booking a meal at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort to see the Happily Ever After fireworks in Magic Kingdom. But you also have some options to catch the EPCOT nighttime show, and one of those is in a place you might not expect!
Disney is no stranger to lawsuits, and we finally have an update on one that could impact you.

Back in November 2022, we learned that YouTube TV subscribers had brought a class-action lawsuit against Disney alleging that the company’s ownership of ESPN and Hulu has caused them to pay MORE for their subscriptions than they otherwise would have to if ESPN wasn’t part of the base package. Disney previously filed a motion to dismiss the case, and here’s how that’s going.

Music plays a very important role in the Magic Kingdom’s brand-new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! In fact, the whole ride’s plot is predicated on assembling a band of critters to play at Tiana’s big bash! Several musical heavyweights were brought in to work on the attraction and its climactic original song, and now you can listen to their work from the comfort of your own home!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom
After years of construction and weeks of previews that prooobably could have gone better, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is FINALLY open to the public! The highly-anticipated Magic Kingdom attraction opened on June 28th to massive virtual queue demand and a crowded park. Like any other major Disney World opening, Tiana’s is being accompanied by a new merchandise collection, and our focus today: SNACKS.Â

In late June 2024, Disney shocked the theme park world when they announced that their Genie+ program – – which had only been introduced in 2021 – – was being radically transformed. Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland closed about a year and a half ago, and Disney has been busy turning the ride into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
