Halloween might still be almost two months away, but the spooky season is practically upon us. We’ve already caught sight of some fiendish festivities in Disney World and now Halloween has OFFICIALLY arrived in Disneyland! Let’s take a look around!
It’s officially September, and we’re kicking off the month with another weekly roundup of the latest park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability for the week of September 5th!
We’re so close to the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration!
With less than one month to go until the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, we’ve noticed lately that guests seem to be waiting to visit the parks until the festivities begin on October 1st, leaving those who are visiting right now with PLENTY of elbow room. Over the past few months, we’ve even seen some characters get new suits or appear in some of their newer looks. Now, some NEW characters have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Want to meet Disney’s latest hero? Here’s what you need to know!
Disney recently announced its new program that will replacing Disney World’s FastPass+ — Disney Genie+.

The new program will be a part of Disney Genie in the My Disney Experience app and will launch sometime this fall. While Genie is a free planning tool, Genie+ is a paid program that will let you skip most of the standby lines like FastPass+ did. Instead of entering the FastPass+ lanes, you will enter the Lightning Lanes at rides. We have already seen signs for Lightning Lanes go up in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and today, we found some in Hollywood Studios!
Preparations for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary are well underway, with the big celebrations kicking off in just under a month!

We’ve seen 50th Anniversary signs and banners up at the parks, 50th Anniversary merchandise released, and more big announcements made about what fans can expect to see. But, there’s one 50th Anniversary item that was on pre-sale for select individuals and now it’s available for that select group to officially buy!

Today we got to check out a special preview of some of the Halloween items coming to Disneyland and we got a peek at one item in particular that we think will become a HUGELY popular souvenir!

Sometimes it’s just stopping to wonder why someone would abandon a box of Dole Whips. Other times, we just have to stop and admire Disney ducks. And then there are times when we notice that something is missing.

La Crêperie de Paris
La Crêperie de Paris and its quick service window, Crêpes à Emporter, will be opening on October 1st, just in time for the start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. These table service and quick service dining locations are nestled right next to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT’s France pavilion, with sweet and savory options for guests to try. Recently, we got a first look at these restaurants and got to try a bunch of different dishes. Should you take time out of your day to stop by and grab a crêpe or two at these spots? It could be from weather, technical difficulties, or a completely unknown reason, and many times Cast Members don’t know if or when rides will reopen! That’s what has been happening recently with Living with the Land in EPCOT, but today, we have some news about the status of the ride!
