Something NEW Just Reopened at Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel

Something is almost ALWAYS under construction in Disney World.

We spent YEARS staring at construction walls in EPCOT (but most of those are gone now). There’s a ton of construction over at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, too, where two new restaurants will be opening soon. There’s been quite a bit of construction at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, including at one of its stores, M. Mouse Mercantile, which closed temporarily. Now, that store has reopened with a brand-new look.

We have gotten to experience so many new attractions, like Tron Lightcycle / Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. EPCOT’s multi-year transformation was just completed and brought us rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There is still so much in store as Test Track is currently being re-imagined with inspiration from its predecessor, World of Motion. Magic Kingdom is about to have the Country Bear Jamboree open up once again with a new show! While we have gotten so many new attractions, there is one trend that is really defining 2024 at Disney World.

TRON Lightcycle / Run finally opened in April 2023, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure just opened in Frontierland in the ride building that used to house Splash Mountain (same ride system, different theming), and Country Bear Jamboree went under refurbishment in January to introduce a new show.
