Unexpected things do happen on vacations, and this week the center of a few mishaps has been at the airports.
Orlando International Airport
Many major airlines have been experiencing huge delays and cancelations recently, causing travel to become more unpredictable than usual. Just yesterday, Spirit Airlines even canceled 22 of its flights from Orlando. However, these problems have continued through today as well.
A great and long-standing tradition at the Hall of Presidents in Disney World has been to update the attraction every time a new President takes office.

In the past, the time frame has varied for how long it takes to add the new Presidential animatronic. The attraction closed on January 20, 2021 and Disney said a couple weeks ago that it would be reopening in August with the new President Biden animatronic, we just didn’t have an exact date. Disney has been known to create a soft-serve float concoction from time to time, but for those days in the Magic Kingdom when you just want some soft-serve ice cream (minus the float), where can you go?
New summer treat alert!
If you love sweets and are looking for something to cool you off from the Florida heat, you can now get cotton candy soft serve in the Magic Kingdom!
Disney’s latest line of collectible items is the Stitch Crashes Disney collection, with Stitch plushes, MagicBands, and more showing the little alien invading other Disney movies!

Now Disney has released a sneak peek at the next Stitch Crashes item: Stitch Crashes Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! And this might be the prettiest Stitch we’ve seen yet!

As fall approaches, we’re preparing for the start of BOO Bash, the 50th Anniversary, and new nighttime firework shows (R.I.P Happily Ever After). But we’re not the only ones preparing as fall decorations have already started popping up in Magic Kingdom! Overnight, Disney’s classic spooky (and adorable) pumpkins arrived on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom!
Now is the time! We have all officially put off the need to go back-to-school shopping until the last minute and that is OK!

There’s a NEW Stitch coming to the Stitch Crashes Disney collection soon, and Disney has announced the release date!
The FastPass+ system at Disney World has not returned since the parks reopened in July of 2020, and there’s no word on when it will.
FastPass+
FastPasses essentially let you book a time slot to skip most of the line on attractions. Disneyland Paris recently implemented a new system of paid FastPasses, called Disney Premier Access. This is different from Disney World, where FastPasses were free to guests with a park ticket. Now we have a look at the exact pricing for Disneyland Paris’ new FastPass system.
