We’re starting to see things return to pre-closure normal at Disney World, and well, some of those things are making us pretty emotional!

First, ride pre-shows have returned (we might have shed a tear seeing the Haunted Mansion stretching room come to life again), interactive queue elements are now available to guests waiting in line for some rides, and fireworks will once more light up the skies above Disney World on July 1st!

In fact, some of us have even imagined our own stories about a few creepy things we’ve seen in the parks, like the former creepy clown slide at the pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, or the gigantic evil-grinning Jack-in-the-Box at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. But nothing matches the tales that guests and Cast Members continue to share that revolve around Magic Kingdom.

You need to remember rain gear for those infamous Florida thunderstorms, all of your comfiest shoes to keep you moving throughout the day, and things like portable chargers so you can keep up with the wait times on your phone! Thankfully, you don’t have to run out to CVS during your vacation, you should just be able to pick up what you need at your Disney resort’s gift shop!Â

The Star Wars:Â Galactic Starcruiser Hotel in Disney World will be the first fully immersive Disney hotel experience! And, you won’t even BELIEVE the sheer size of all the things that will be available to guests.

We’re talking real lightsabers, dining experiences from around the galaxy, and even interactions with fan-favorite characters and crew members! While the hotel has been delayed for a projected opening in 2022, we’ve got MORE updates on its progress!
Throughout the month of June, the Disney Parks have been celebrating Pride Month!

We’ve seen a ton of Pride merchandise, as well as a lot of great Pride snacks at both Disney World and Disneyland. But one Downtown Disney ice cream shop has plans to celebrate Global Pride Day by giving back to local communities.
As health and safety protocols continue to change in California, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park have continued to reopen restaurants and rides.

This past week was a big one for some of the major projects going on around the parks — we finally know when the new nighttime show at EPCOT, Harmonious, will debut, we found more progress on two of the major roller coasters coming to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, and we even got a peek at what’s to come on a recent hotel refurbishment. So, we’ve got a lot to cover — let’s get to it!
