While Disney World may be experiencing high temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s right now, it is never to early to start thinking about the Halloween season!
We just got an exclusive look at the first Halloween merchandise collection that will be dropping on Monday.
Disney World is always busy building new things and updating even more.
For example, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently reopened after a lengthy refurbishment with a few changes. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a brand NEW ride, just opened in Magic Kingdom. It seems like there’s almost ALWAYS some kind of construction going on in EPCOT. This is why we wanted to remind you about a Disney World restaurant closure that will happen soon.
Disney Imagineers are updating the Country Bear Jamboree show in Magic Kingdom with “an all-new act.” The bears are going to be singing Disney songs in NEW styles, like pop-country, rockabilly, and bluegrass!
The attraction is reopening soon at Magic Kingdom, and we simply can’t wait to see it. But, one lucky group of folks will get to preview it first and we’ve got all the details!
It’s officially summer in Disney World, and thousands of people are spending their vacations in the parks!
It’s an incredibly popular time for people to visit, but it’s also a challenging time. Why? The weather of course! Central Florida gets incredibly hot and humid in those summer months, and if you’re not used to that weather or spending the entire day in the sun, it can be BRUTAL. But you’re way more likely to have an easy go of things if you dress appropriately for the weather! And here at DFB, we’re ready to help with that.
There’s one less way to get to Walt Disney World.
Back in 2022, low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines, announced with great fanfare that they were launching service from Upstate New York’s Greater Binghamton Airport (BGM) to Orlando. However, just two years later, that service is being discontinued permanently.
You’re having the best day at Disney World, but decide to take a break and grab a bite to eat so you can keep on going.
You’re not looking for anything too fancy and don’t have any reservations, so a counter-service or food court spot it is! There’s nothing inherently wrong with that — in fact, some of our favorite eats are from food courts — but there are some serious issues you might run into at these quick service spots. Food court drama is real in Disney World, and we’re sharing some of the most egregious misdeeds we’ve seen!
When there’s new food announced at a Disney park, you know we’re right there ready to report on it.
As much as we love our tried and true menu favorites at restaurants throughout Disney World and Disneyland, we do enjoy news of brand-new food items to try during our next trip (because they might become our new favorites!). Disney has just announced a new lunch menu at Disneyland Resort and we are hyped for all they have to offer.
We go to Disney World every single day, and well, let’s just say we’ve seen some things.
One thing we’ve seen is EPCOT completely change into something we almost don’t recognize now (and we mean that in the best way possible). We’ve also seen baby animals born at Disney World, as well as Disney ducks being treated like the royalty they are (maybe Donald is right and ducks are #1). We’ve also seen some cringey things, but more importantly, we’ve heard some cringey things. So let’s talk about one of the places, the Monorail, in Disney World where we’ve heard things that make us shake our heads.
We’re well into the summer season, and that means it’s HOT when you go to Disney World!
Summer in Florida is characterized by ridiculous heat and ridiculous humidity, and typically, a lot of rain. So if you’re traveling in the coming weeks and months, you’ll want to be prepared for the extreme weather. But for those going to the parks this week, we’ve got an extra warning for you!
