Spooky season is HERE in Disney World!

Disney World kicks off the Halloween season in August, so you get to start celebrating a little bit earlier than in most places (which we LOVE). There are yummy pumpkin treats, festive decorations, and characters in their adorable costumes! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom was canceled this year, and instead, the after hours event BOO Bash has taken its place. Tickets went on sale to the public back in June, and we have an update about availability!
If you’re headed to Disney World soon, you probably have your eye on some Advance Dining Reservations at some really fun restaurants.

It comes as no surprise, but dining is one of our favorite parts of a trip to Disney World (did our name give it away?). There are certainly some reservations that tend to be more difficult to get than others any day you try, but, right now, it seems like dining reservations are harder to get in general. Whether you’re trying to book Oga’s Cantina, Be Our Guest Restaurant, or even some of the less popular spots, why is it harder than ever to get a reservation for Disney World restaurants?
We looked at our calendars this morning and realized, “Oh…my…goodness. We’re already halfway through JUNE.” JUNE, YOU GUYS!!!😱 Which also means, we’re creeping up on the second half of 2021. (No need to adjust your glasses, you read that correctly.) And, we’re kicking off the summer with some BIG discounts!

We’ve been closely following the construction on Portillo’s, which opened TODAY near Disney World. This rock ‘n’ roll-themed diner encountered quite a few delays in its opening, and we sure are excited to finally be onsite for our fix of Chicago-style food.

Main Street Philharmonic at Magic Kingdom
While Disney World has the Main Street Philharmonic in Magic Kingdom, Disneyland Resort has the Disneyland Band. The Disneyland Band has not performed since the Disneyland closure in March 2020, but we have some news!
Disneyland Resort guests now officially have another Disney hotel option available!
Paradise Pier Hotel has reopened!
When Disneyland’s theme parks reopened back on April 30th, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel had also started welcoming back guests one day prior. And now, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has also reopened!
