Your Disney World trip is almost here, which means there’s something we’ve gotta get right.
Usually, we’re talking about getting the right essentials or making sure your fit is on point, but today we’re talking about something else. Specifically, we need to inform you that we’ve found your new Disney World park bag. And guess what? It’s available on Amazon, right now, so let’s get right into it!
Cue the fireworks and throw some hot dogs on the grill because the 4th of July is finally here!
And, Amazon is joining in the festivities by hosting a HUGE 4th of July sale going on right now! Here are a few of our fave Disney trip essentials that we can’t wait to get with this holiday discount. Ready? Let’s go!
The Genie+ system in Disney World is changing in a BIG way soon!
Genie+ is the skip-the-line service in Disney World. Visitors pay for the service — which costs anywhere from $15 to $39 per day, depending on the season and demand — and can then use it to reserve Lightning Lanes throughout the day. When their reservation time arrives, they skip the standby line and use the Lightning Lane instead, which means a lower wait time.
Genie+ has been in place since 2021, and now (almost three years after its initial debut) a BUNCH of changes are coming. We’ve been learning about the new system, which will be called Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and we’ve discovered one huge PROBLEM. [Read more…]
It’s a holiday week — and you know what that means! Disney World is about to get all red, white, and blue for the 4th of July.
That means we’re seeing some red, white, and blue decor up in Magic Kingdom, and we’re getting ready to dive into some delicious 4th of July snacks that are well, red, white, and blue (you see where we’re going with this, right?). Well, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square is appropriately serving up a red, white, and blue snack RIGHT NOW, so we’re checking it out.
Getting around Disney World using its modes of transportation might sometimes feel like it requires certification of its own. Knowing all the ins and outs of when to take the bus, the ferryboat, the monorail, or even when it’s most advantageous to call for a Minnie Van, can feel like it’s all too much to someone who’s not as well versed.
Now imagine being the bus drivers of these buses shuttling folks to and from the Disney World hotels, parks, and Disney Springs. If you’ve ever asked yourself what else they might want to tell you, we’ve come up with a list that might help spark a conversation or two on your next trip! [Read more…]

Ahoy Disney Cruise Line passengers!Â
If you’re planning to set sail on a Disney Cruise later this year, be forewarned that a seemingly minor change could have a MAJOR impact on your sailing if you don’t plan accordingly. Later this fall, the Disney Cruise Line is changing their all-aboard time for select cruises.Â
Y’all. We’ve seen some things in Disney World. Sometimes they’re wonderful things, sometimes they’re terrifying things, but yeah…we’ve seen THINGS.
For example, you’ve got those wonderful Cast Member moments that just make your day that much more magical. Or there’s that moment when you see a character just living its best life. On the other side of things, it’s that one time you accidentally make eye contact with Caesar as you’re exiting Tower of Terror (if you know, you know) or find yourself in one of the creepiest parts of a park. Well, we’ve looked over some of our photos, and we wanted to share some of things we’ve seen that left their marks on us.
