Mother’s Day is coming up, which means the parks and resorts have rolled out a WHOLE bunch of eats for us to enjoy. We’ve already sampled a mini cake (WITH mimosa), and now we’re at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to taste some more!
One of Disney’s cardinal rules that it has more or less lived by across their theme parks has to do with sticking to the story of a particular land. For example, you’ll never find a Ronto Wrap for sale in Toy Story Land, and you wouldn’t see a Tomorrowland Cast Member walking around in their costume in Adventureland.

However, those principles were put to the test in 2021, when Disneyland welcomed guests back to Disney California Adventure with A Touch of Disney.

Disneyland Resort is officially reopening TODAY, after a 13-month closure.

The parks originally shuttered in March 2020, and while Disney World reopened that July, the California parks stayed closed. Closures like these — as well as the pandemic itself — have taken a massive toll on the tourism industry. And while things are slowly reopening, it appears that Disneyland will report an overall loss in revenue.
When it comes to classic Disneyland snacks, we are all about Churros. There are SO many flavors to try!

The PeopleMover is back OPEN in Magic Kingdom and we are SO happy.

Can you blame us? This beloved attraction was closed for over a year with a LOT of delays to that reopening date. We were starting to lose hope! But, have no fear, we’re able to cruise along through Tomorrowland again. Today, we noticed that more parties were consistently being loaded onto each ride vehicle.Â
