It’s been quite a rainy day in Disney World today.
Time to leave?
The scene today in Magic Kingdom, under a “Severe Weather Warning,” was definitely ominous (and wet), but still, that wasn’t the most disappointing part of our day. We’ve seen things been abandoned in Disney World before, like Dole Whip and Mickey balloons. But today, we saw something that shook us to our core.
Considering Florida’s nickname is the “Sunshine State,” you might assume that the weather at Disney World is constantly sunny, perfect, and warm…but you’d be mistaken!
A rainy day at Magic Kingdom!
Even outside of hurricane season, the weather at Disney World is notoriously unpredictable, and at times SEVERE. We have the videos and photos from Magic Kingdom when an actual “Severe Weather Warning” was issued for the area.
Where has the year gone? It’s speeding by so quickly. Spring Break is pretty much over, and now Disney World is gearing up for the summer! Just wow!

And while we’re busy reviewing all the new snacks popping up at Disney World, including Cake Dips, a Wildberry Shake with cake pops on top of it (!!!), and a cupcake covered in bees, we’re also keeping an eye on restaurant menus to see what changes are being made. This week brings a few new items AND returning items — so let’s get started!
Goofy may be a lot of things, but fashion icon isn’t really the first thing that comes to mind. No offense, but floppy shoes and vests don’t exactly scream “style!”

Well, thanks to a merchandise collection we spotted in Disney World, Goofy might just be the newest fashion icon. Coach has created some Disney-inspired collections in the past, and we stopped by the store in Disney Springs to look at the most recent addition!
Orange is having a MOMENT in Disney World!
Orange Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie
Specifically, Disney Springs has suddenly blossomed into a veritable grove of orange-flavored snacks! After recently spotting orange cookies and orange cakes, now we’re slurping orange slushies, and they taste JUST like an iconic dessert!
It’s springtime in Disney World, which means a lot of things, but mostly you can bet that the parks look beautiful right now.

This is especially true at EPCOT, which is currently hosting the International Flower and Garden Festival!

It’s not uncommon for guests to find themselves in the middle of a rainy day at Disney World.
