Welcome back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’re taking a tour of Disney’s wildest park to check out some new food and browse for merchandise finds — and we’ve got a few updates for ya. Let’s get started!
Got a kiddo who loves Baby Yoda and is turning 6? Got a Star Wars obsessed fan who is turning 16? Are YOU the Star Wars obsessed fan and you’re turning 45? Whoever you are, if you’re not planning a Baby Yoda-themed birthday party right now, WHAT are you doing?!
We’ve already shared recipes for how you can make some cookies inspired by The Mandalorian and even a Baby Yoda-inspired smoothie. So, you can whip those up for party time. But, now we’ve got everything else you’ll need to make sure your Baby Yoda party is out of this world!!
Over the past few months, we’ve seen various rules at Disney World and elsewhere regarding COVID-19, masks, travel, and more change as the situation with the pandemic continues to evolve.
Orange County, Florida, where Disney World is located, currently has a mask mandate in place. Recently, the Orange County Mayor, Mayor Jerry Demings, commented about when the mask mandate may end. Today we got more updates from Mayor Demings about when mask mandates and social distancing rules may start to change.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are set to reopen on April 30th, and for the first time we’ll get a look at rides that we haven’t been on or seen for OVER a year!
One ride that will be reopening at Disneyland on April 30th is The Haunted Mansion. The ride closed for refurbishment in early 2020, but we really didn’t know TOO much about what those refurbishments would include. Now, we’ve got photos, videos, and more information revealing just what’s changed at the Mansion! A new (but also old) portrait? New landscaping? And even new wallpaper? Check out what the ghosts have been up to!!
Good news for those headed to Disneyland Resort soon!
Downtown Disney has a lot of great food options whether you’re looking for treats or eats. Now though, you’ve got some MORE options for breakfast when you’re exploring Disneyland’s shopping and dining district!
Star Wars Day is almost here and NOW is the time to get ready!! When is Star Wars Day? Well, it’s May the 4th of course, as in May the Fourth (*Force*) be with you!
We’ve already seen Park Pass reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios filling up for May the 4th, and we’ve shared a peek at 6 NEW Star Wars collectibles that will become available that day too. But, now we’ve got another way for you to get ready for this intergalactic holiday!
Happy April, DFB friends!
It’s Earth Month, and Disney is celebrating in more ways than one! We’ve seen lots of unique treats around the Disney parks and resorts for the occasion — and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is going all out with some fun activities. But if you want to rep your conservation spirit, you’re in luck! Some new Disney shirts just dropped online, JUST in time for Earth Day.
EPCOT is pretty COVERED in construction right now.
There are a few projects around World Showcase, but MOST of those construction walls are up in Future World as the EPCOT Transformation continues. Disney just announced that Club Cool will be returning and Mouse Gear will be replaced by the new Creations Shop. Could work on these be starting soon?
Another popular restaurant may be coming to Orlando!
Sure, we LOVE the food inside Disney World, but we keep ya posted on what’s going on outside of the parks, too! Recently, we’ve been keeping you updated on the construction of 3 restaurants coming to the Disney World area: Portillo’s, White Castle, and Cowboy Chicken. And now, a Louisiana-based chicken chain could be on the way, too.

Select guests are able to make Disneyland Park Pass reservations today!
Disneyland reopens on April 30th, and those with existing tickets are currently able to make park reservations! Just keep in mind that these will be required in addition to a valid ticket. And if you don’t have a ticket yet, don’t worry — you’ll be able to buy new ones (and make those Park Pass reservations) on April 15th! But you may be wondering…HOW exactly does this Park Pass system work?
