We totally get it, you’re going to Disney World and you want to do all the BEST things!
You probably want to stay at the best resort, go on the best rides, and (maybe most importantly) eat all the best food! As the Disney Food Blog, we consider ourselves experts on that last one, and we’ve put together quite a few “best food” lists over the years. Today we’re talking about the best snacks in Disney World, but more precisely, how much it would COST to eat the 20 best snacks. Let’s start that budget now!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney Springs!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Hello to all our DFB Friends! We hope you’re having a magical day!
We got to do the thing we love the most, which was wandering around Disney World, most notably Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And we’ve tracked everything that’s popped up as new since we were last there. So let’s get started with some updates!
It’s another day at Disney World, and we’re trying a new snack during this busy time of year!
Just this week alone, we’ve had several cakes, a St. Patrick’s Day cookie, an Irish Coffee, and some GIGANTIC donuts! But today, we found a treat that’s for all of you huge Nutella fans out there.
We’ve certainly eaten our share of artistic snacks here at DFB!
Not only have we sipped on a Bloody Mary in a Warhol-style tomato soup can, but we’ve also had a Passion Fruit Mousse that looked almost too beautiful to eat. Then there were the gorgeous Valentine’s Day creations over at Le Petit Cafe, along with a chocolate sculpture of Cinderella Castle at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
There’s no doubt that it is a busy time if you are traveling to Disney World.
While we’ve seen Disney World pretty crowded this week with all four parks at capacity, it wasn’t totally what we expected. And, if you find yourself flying to Disney World in the next few weeks, you can expect the airports to be fairly busy as well.
It’s been exactly one year since Disneyland Resort closed its doors.
Several other Disney Parks have opened, although Hong Kong Disneyland has closed and reopened again, and Disneyland Paris has closed and has not reopened again. But, has Disneyland remained closed throughout the year due to California’s strict theme park reopening guidelines.
Cake takes MANY forms in Disney World, from the mile-high slices at Gideon’s Bakehouse to beautifully decorated Disney Princess cakes.Â
It goes without saying, though, that not EVERY cake in Disney World is gonna be a hit, as is clearly evidenced by a pair of two new cakes we tried in EPCOT, and spoiler alert: we wished we only ordered one of them! [Read more…]
So many Minnie Ears…so little time (and money because we keep spending it on Minnie ears!)… .
Disney keeps releasing gorgeous new designs that are hard to say ‘no’ to, like pretty floral ears, Orange Bird ears (!!!), and ears with all our favorite parks icons on them. Yeah, there have been some ears we weren’t exactly FOND of, but for every one of those, there are usually 10 pairs we end up loving!
