A lot’s happening at Disney World, but what’s coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a straight up TON!
There is a new Little Mermaid show and new Villains show coming to the park. The Muppets are leaving Muppets Courtyard in favor of re-theming Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Monster’s, Inc. Land is setting up shop in that vacated area. Speaking of Monsters, Inc., since Disney has a habit of trying to be sneaky with their concept art, we thought we’d have ourselves a little looksie and see what they’ve confirmed for the new land without explicitly saying so!
Disney World draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs every day — so it’s no wonder the House of Mouse would require that folks pass through security to get in.
You typically just have to walk through an advanced screening scanner device (basically a souped-up metal detector) that can detect whether or not people are bringing banned items into the parks. Disney doesn’t make these scanners, of course, instead purchasing them from different manufacturers. And, one of those companies is currently in some hot water with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
December is already flying by and we’re so not ready for the holidays yet (although we’ve been celebrating the holiday season in Disney World for over a month now!).
We’re looking forward to the opening of a brand-new restaurant coming up soon (and we now have a menu to look at while we wait for its doors to open). We’re also still eating our way around the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays (and here are the things we’re ordering over and over). Meanwhile, Disney World restaurant menus keep changing, and we’re keeping up with them all!
Both Halloween Time and the holiday season are a lot of fun in Disneyland.
Not only do both seasons bring some awesome decor, merchandise, entertainment, and more to the parks, but they both bring one of the most fun ride overlays EVER to a classic Disney attraction. Yep, we’re talking about Haunted Mansion Holiday, which is both a Halloween and holiday ride (hey, we don’t make up the rules). However, all good things must come to an end, and now we know when Haunted Mansion Holiday will close in Disneyland, as well as when it will reopen as its original self.
Disney just dropped a ton of announcements about what’s happening in 2025 at Disneyland.
We got dates for some fun After Hours events. We got more details about Disneyland’s huge 70th Anniversary Celebration. We learned when Halloween Time and the holiday season begins. We learned when the Red Car Trolley would close to make way for an Avengers Campus expansion. We also learned when we’d get to see the first EVER Walt Disney animatronic. SO much. BUT...there was something missing from those announcements: details about Pixar Fest!
Packing is hard. We get it. There are so many things to keep track of — what are you going to wear? What do you have space to pack? How many pairs of shoes should you bring? What should you bring on the plane?
Well, we travel a LOT. Probably more than the average family — especially if Disney is involved. And over time, we’ve found a few travel essentials that are ESSENTIAL to pack in your carry-on bag. These items have SAVED us on long flights, quick trips, and everything in between. Here’s what you need before your next trip!
We go to Disney World every day, and because of that, we tend to notice quite a bit.
And lately, we’ve noticed that different generations have wildly different approaches to the parks. Of course, it makes sense when you think about it. But, there’s one generation that’s bringing a weird sort of energy to the parks. No offense, Gen Alpha, but Disney needs to get rid of these trends.
We talk a LOT about food in Disney World.
We talk about the best snacks, the best eats at the EPCOT festivals, and even some of our favorite entrees to order at table service spots. But you know what gets overlooked? Some of Disney World’s AMAZING appetizers. So today, we’re rounding up 7 of the top appetizers in Disney World to determine which one is the best.
Things are changing all the time in Disneyland and we do our best to keep up with them all!
Some BIG changes are coming soon, including new stores (some of which have already opened) and restaurants in Downtown Disney. A new Avatar-themed land is coming to Disney California Adventure, along with a new Coco ride. Most recently, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in Disneyland — and we’ve got some MASSIVE news about that ride to share with you!
