Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise, crowds, and entertainment updates to share with you. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s jump right on in!
You might be on vacation during this holiday season, or just trying to squeeze in a few extra naps to catch up on some much-needed rest, but Disney news never takes a break!
Another week has passed at the most magical place on earth, and some BIG updates have been announced or seen in the parks. From the return of Park Hopping to an update on the EPCOT monorail, today we’re taking a look at 5 pieces of Disney news from this week that you might have missed!
We hope you’ve got your sweet tooth ready!
The end of the holiday season means that we have the bad news of having to say bye to our favorite holiday treats. But, the good news is we get to kick-off 2021 with the return of several favorites! We’ve welcomed back the Kakamora Float and the Wookie Cookie, and now it’s time to say “OMG we missed you,” to another beloved eat!
The first full week of 2021 has arrived and it’s shaping up to be full of exciting things!
Not only will this be the first full week of Park Hopping returning since the parks reopened, but next week also marks the beginning of the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! If you’re going to be in Disney World the week of January 3rd, we have all the park hour information as well as current Park Pass Reservation availability!
At long last, 2020 has come to an end! It may be hard to believe, but December has come and gone, leaving us with a belly full of new and seasonal snacks from around Disney World.
But which snacks stood out for all the right AND wrong reasons? Let’s look back on the month of December and review the five BEST and the five WORST things we ate (and drank!) in Disney World.
UPDATE: The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover closure has been extended until January 30th, 2021.
Happy New Year, from the DFB team!
This month is bringing all sorts of updates to the theme parks. Park Hopping is making a comeback (in a totally new way) and the policies for free MagicBands and luggage tags are changing. As always, we want to keep you informed on all the major updates and how they might affect your trip. Those of you visiting Disney World next week will want to prepare by knowing what attractions are closed for refurbishment ahead of time. Let’s recap what rides will be closed between January 4th through January 10th, 2021! [Read more…]
It’s finally 2021, and we’re ready to celebrate!
This year is a big year for Disney! Today, Park Hopping returns in Walt Disney World and MagicBands are no longer free for resort guests. Sometime this year, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the TRON coaster will be opening to the public. Tons of movies and TV shows will be arriving on Disney+ this year as the company focuses more on streaming. And on top of all that, we’re kicking off the New Year with a special deal on shopDisney!
Today is the day of returning treats!
We’ve already shared our excitement about the return of the Kakamora Float in Magic Kingdom and now we’re bopping over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to be reunited with one of our favorite cookies in Disney World!
We come to you with a tale today — one of love, loss, reunion, loss again, and REUNION AGAIN. If you’ve been around DFB for the past year or so, you know that we have a total love affair with Magic Kingdom’s Kakamora Float at Aloha Isle.
This float debuted for the 2019 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and we were SO delighted when it stuck around. It’s disappeared a few times, due to the park closures and once to make room for 2020’s holiday float. But we’re starting 2021 STRONG with the return of the Kakamora Float!
We’ve got BIG news for Florida-based Disney fans!
You may remember that Florida residents have had access to a special ticket at select times of the year, called the Florida Resident Discover Ticket. This option gives Floridians BIG savings and flexibility when it comes to visiting Disney World parks on non-consecutive days. Now, that offer is BACK!
