NEWS! Disney Executive Chairman Bob Iger States He Was “Seriously Considering” Running for President

Bob Iger is the former CEO and current Executive Chairman of The Walt Disney Company.

There have been numerous rumors whether Iger would run for Presidency in the last election. The former CEO planned to step down in 2021 but sped up the process earlier this year. Some believed Iger wanted an early retirement and others speculated that he may be running for office. Election Day has come and gone and it’s clear that Iger didn’t throw his hat into the ring. He has, however, admitted that he considered running for office.

Photos! Rey Is Rocking Her Winter Gear at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World Today!

Character meet and greets in the Disney parks are a little different right now.

Each of the parks has character cavalcades — “mini parades” that allow guests to see their favorite characters strolling through the park for a short time. However, we’ve also seen a number of physically distanced meet and greets in Disney World, like Buzz in Tomorrowland, Captain Jack in Adventureland, and Winnie the Pooh next to the Imagination Pavilion. The character meets have also changed over in Galaxy’s Edge, and today we noticed some new differences…namely an outfit change with one of our heroes!

Could Disney Characters Start Visiting the Disney World Resorts Again Soon?

Since Disney World reopened, we’ve mostly been seeing characters EXCLUSIVELY in the parks.

There have been a few exceptions though. When Disney Springs reopened, we spotted Storm Troopers making announcements, and just yesterday Goofy and Pluto were out saying hi to guests from Disney’s Beach Club Resort’s Stormalong Bay pool. And, of course, you can meet characters at Topolino’s Terrace and soon at Chef Mickey’s. Now, there’s a chance that we’ll see MORE characters visiting the resort hotels soon!
