Construction and refurbishment projects are nothing out of the ordinary for Walt Disney World. There are often several in various stages of completion happening all the time, all of which are announced by Disney. However, we’ve just caught wind of a small project the company has yet to announce.Â

We’ve been enjoying some of the new Pride Month snacks that the month of June has brought. We’ve also discovered some new nachos in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, some new Mac ‘n’ Cheese (oh, yeah!), and ANOTHER Cookie Dough Croissant (yes, this is becoming a trend). However, we were also keeping an eye on other Disney World menu changes, so let’s see what’s been updated this week.

That experience included meeting unique characters, getting a chance to help fly a starship, lightsaber training, exclusive food and drinks, and so much more. It also meant access to exclusive souvenirs, but we’ve seen some of that merchandise end up online. Walt Disney World has another refillable mug problem.
Resort Refillable Mugs
Anyone who has stayed at a Walt Disney World hotel is likely familiar with the refillable mugs sold at the resort. However, just in case you need a refresher, Disney World hotels offer Resort Refillable Mugs for you to purchase and use for FREE refills throughout your vacation. They are 16 oz. insulated coffee mugs, typically sold at each Disney hotel at the resort’s primary Counter Service location. You are entitled to unlimited free refills on fountain drinks, coffee, and tea from participating beverage locations at Disney resorts for your length of stay — up to 14 days.Â
These mugs can be a great way to save if you drink a lot of soda or coffee, but you need to watch out for a couple of potential PROBLEMS!
Although there are tons of cute Disney souvenirs at Disney World, some of my favorite items actually come from other sources, like Target and Amazon! (It definitely helps that they’re usually cheaper than the items in the parks, too.)
